Christmas Ornaments

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here on this lovely Thursday and I'm thinking about Christmas.  It's not too far away now, so why not start creating those cards.

I've used a Poppystamps Craft Die - Skybrook Ornaments.  This amazingly delicate die gives you the impression the ornaments are floating in air.  I've used Bazzill Gold Cardstock to die cut the ornaments.

The card itself is a legal sized card cut from white cardstock, then layered with black, red and white cardstock.  The ornaments were placed on the top layer.

2015 December daily update 3

Hi everyone!

Pi here with the third update of my December daily 2015 :D

So far I managed to get the first 3 datecards in 4x6 HERE
and 6 journaling and filler cards in 3x4 HERE done.
For more information about the set up, please check HERE.
I'm using pocketed scrapbooking 12x12 design A and my intention is to have a whole page per day.

I'm trying to share a process video here, what you don't see is that I have everything from my set up on my dining room table (and a bit more...) I'm getting stage fright though, so I didn't feel that any of the card is actually entirely done. But hopefully you'll get the idea of how I'm working, the inspiration is from Nicolejones911's December daily 2014.

Happy using Magnolia Collection- Sea Breeze

Hi everyone.  It's Bev here today with a fun, fussy, flower girlie page. I am using the Magnolia collection - Sea Breeze from The Rubber Buggy. This page is simple layers with lots of flowers, chipboards and fun stenciling using molding paste for texture.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products:
Paper: Magnolia Collection - sea breeze

Chipboard: Blue Fern Studios Arrow Words Berry Stems
Flowers: Wild Orchid 10mm mulberry open roses
Stems: Green mulberry paper leaves
Lace: crochet lace trim cream 3/8"

Doily: Unique
Ink: Tim Holtz ranger
Markers: Copics

Other: stencil, modeling paste, punched border

In the close ups you get a better view of the details. Notice the stenciled background with molding paste, the clustered flowers with leaf and the fabulous chipboard accent. Also there is a thin border punched accent and also a doily. All these elements give texture and layers to a page.

This photo showcases another clustered accent tied off with a bow of lace and has a great chippie title. On this page the papers and the photo are corner punched for a softer edge. Inked edges also give a softer look to papers.

Merry Christmas Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here on this lovely Thursday and I'm thinking about Christmas.  It's not too far away now, so why not start creating those cards.

I create a card from Gray cardstock, then added a red panel on top.  I used a Poppystamps Craft Die - Merry - as the focal element.

Spellbinders dies were used as the center and this delicate die cut perfectly from Gold cardstock.

It's simple, but effective!

Merry Graphic 45

Hi everyone!

Pi here with a Christmas card using Graphic 45 as my DT-project for The Rubber Buggy :)
Mainly the old Place in time collection, but you'll see I've used a non-Christmas collection of course - LOL!

My inspiration for this card was the Santa in sleigh piece from their chipboard. I really loved the dark blue sky with the red Santa and green tree. So I added a dark blue mat behind everything and that's my non-Christmas item. I used a blue from French Country collection. Love my new system where I organise everything according to color rather then by collection. I'm so using up my older stash this way.

The pionsettias have been colored with glitter mist and you can find great selections from both Prima and Blue Fern Studio in the store.

Have you seen the gorgeous Venice lace that Kellie has been filling the store with?
Just imagine what wonderful creations you can make with those :)
