Graphic 45 Let It Bee Birthday card with pocket
Welcome back and Nancy, here. I am excited to do fall birthday cards with a handmade bouquet of fall leaves and flowers and sticks from my back yard. I stamped out some sentiments and adhered these to the candy bars for that added touch when my friend gets her bouquet of flowers with treats.
Leaves are turning and morning walks feeling crispy cooler temperatures and seeing the pumpkins just inspired me to create another card with Graphic 45 Let It Bee collection. I love these images and colors of beautiful sunflowers, golden bees and bright red poppies with bee sentiments just perfect for card making, mini albums and papercrafts.
I made a card to insert inside the pocket and added a wooden spoon and tea bag for a treat. Now my card is a gift! You can also tuck a gift card inside but I will add some family photos this year in additional to the treats and birthday card in the pocket.
I added some metal bees and coated with some Prima Marketing gold wax to bring out the bees. I used a hot glue gun to glue on the bees as well as the handmade sunflower. I used a Copic Market that is a darker gold to brush on the center of the yellow petals for some contrast. I added a jute string behind the flower before using a hot glue gun to adhere it to the card.
I created a pocket with 1/4" depth with 2" x 6" pocket and the scoring of 1/4" on the inside of the card so when the card is folded, the pocket will fold with the card. The outside measurements of the card is 5" x 7" but when scoring, make sure to cut an addition 1/4" for that scoring in the center.
Before gluing the front of the card to the base frame, I added jute string around the card so that the jute could hold the card together with the treats in the pocket on the inside of the card.
My card measures 5" x 7"

Instructions:
- First, create a 5″ x 7″ fold card base from white heavy cardstock and measure 14 1/4" x 5" (1/4 will be score in the center for the fold that will coordinate with the pocket.
- Next, 5" x 7" Graphic 45 pattern paper on 5" x 7" cardstock and adhere to front of card base.
- Cut out 2" x 5" Graphic 45 pattern paper and add a 1/8" black cardstock border around this paper and glue behind the image.
- Cut out the Honey Bee square from the paper pad and adhere to the top right. I also made sunflowers from an ole die and used the yellow pattern paper to cut out the flowers. I used a Copic Marker that is has a little bit of coral and used the large tip to ink in the center of each petal for that fall look of a sunflower.
- Use a hot glue gun to adhere metal bees and the handmade flowers to the front of the card.
- Inside Instructions. Cut out a 5" x 7" patterned paper from the collection and adhere to both sides of the inside.
- Cut out sentiments images from the collection and adhere to both sides of the inside.
- I type my sister's name and printed it on the paper pad and cut it out with a tab die cut for the birthday card inserted in the pocket on the inside of the card.

Two Cute to Spook
Happy Fall Saturday, and for those Halloween crafty friends today, I have two cute to spook monster cards for our little grandkiddos for Halloween that is only a few weeks away. I created these cards using the Sizzix Tim Holtz Costume and Sizzix Tim Holtz Mischievous die sets along with the Simple Stories Vintage October 31st stickers.
The Sizzix Tim Holtz Costume is basically layers of dies that you build up following the color code stamped on the back of each die. Of course, Halloween comes with kitties. I added the Sizzix Tim Holtz Mischeaveous featuring eight curious cats that are perfect for adding spooky kitties to these cards. The set comes with 16 dies of eight cats and eight coordinating heads to make those kitties pop!
I highly recommend first to watch tutorials from Sizzix for the steps of putting these monsters together by click HERE. My first attempted for each monster assembly was a learning experience and had to do it twice to get it right. I found the mummy to be more challenging at first than the other two monsters. I would highly recommend to NOT do all of the cutting at once in the beginning since those little pieces get easily lost. Therefore, cut one die and glue to base before continuing to the next die that will be cut with a different colored cardstock. At first, you will refer to the tutorials and the color guideline to get you through the first assembly as well as the picture on the front of the die packet of the monsters.
I sponged each card with the yellows and blues of Ranger Distress Oxide ink pads using a brush. I cut out a circle using a punch and stuck it on before sponging and then sponged around the circle to make for a moon. After sponging the blue, I used Ranger orange and yellow ink using a brush for the moon.
For additional to the background, I dug out some ole Halloween dies and stamps to use for these cards.

Graphic 45 Warm Wishes Christmas Cards
Welcome back and Nancy, here, to share my second posting of two Christmas cards made with the gorgeous Graphic 45 Warm Wishes. Since Graphic 45 Warm Wishes Journaling cards had most of the gorgeous images as well as the Christmas sentiments, there wasn't too much work and time to complete each Christmas cards.
For each card, I started with a Graphic 45 Journaling cards, Graphic 45 Warm Wishes paper pad or Graphic 45 Warm Wishes Pattern/Solid Paper pad. I cut my frame to create a 5" x 7" card and glued the patterned paper on the front and then cut it out rather than cut the patterned paper at 5 x 7 and glued it onto the frame. I have found this so much easier. I die cut the poinsettias. I glued in the center of each poinsettia the Pink Fresh Studio Metallic Champagne pearls. I used the Scor Tape to adhere the ribbon onto the card.
That’s pretty much all it took to complete the card front. I liked using the metallic cardstock to frame the journaling card for that added shimmer to each card.

Wedding Scrapbook Page
Welcome back and Nancy, here. Hundreds (if not thousands) are taken of the lovely bride & groom, the amazing venue, the beautiful flowers, & more! So of course, you end up with enough photos to fill an entire album. This requires a lot of wedding scrapbook pages, which means you need a lot of ideas! So I show up and take hundred of photos and go back to my laptop to edit through Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. I even will add a decorative overlay of sparkles, etc. for that added touch of artistic and modern photo.
The easiest choice is to use the bride and groom's chosen wedding colors. Not only will this make your paper choices simple, but it's a great way to remember the wedding. These two beautiful paper collections are dedicated to weddings and ceremonies and are the perfect sets for adding elegant embellishments bridal dresses, wedding cake, flowers, tags and labels to your wedding scrapbook page that also had most of the wedding colors.
Overall, a scrapbook page is fairly simple to put together with the die cuts and gorgeous paper that are already designed for the theme of weddings. Istarted with a 12 x 12 piece of Mintay, Yes I Do cardstock. I cut out a doily from an ole die and cut out a circle of the photo and adhered together and glued to the center of the cardstock. Once I layed down the Stamperia and Mintay die cut pieces and chipboard around the doily without covering some of the images I wanted to show, I glued these down. I handmade some flowers and bow and adhered to the scrapbook page for the final touches.

Sizzix Colorlit Dies Halloween Cards
Happy Saturday, crafty friends, and thanks so much for stopping by! It’s now September and this is the time of year when my crafty ideas think of fall and Halloween. Today I wanted to share some of my Halloween cards made with Sizzix Tim Holtz Costume and Sizzix Tim Holtz Mischievous die sets along with the Simple Stories Elements October 31st patterned paper and Simple Stories Vintage October 31st stickers.
Can you even resist these cute little adorable little monsters? If you’re not familiar with Colorize, it’s basically layers of dies that you build up following the color code stamped on the back of each die. I used a combination of cardstock to build my monsters, and I love how the mix of surfaces adds contrasting visual texture to the finished design. And for even more fun, I added the Sizzix Tim Holtz Mischeaveous featuring eight curious cats that are perfect for adding spooky kitties to your Halloween cards. The set comes with 16 dies of eight cats and eight coordinating heads to make those kitties pop!

Graphic 45 Fashion Forward Birthday Card
Welcome back and Nancy, here, to wish you a good morning to our Rubber Buggy crafters and bloggers. Make sure to check out the new arrivals everyday coming to The Rubber Buggy since these gorgeous Fall and Winter items will sell out soon.
Today, I am sharing a birthday card made with the Graphic 45 Fashion Forward November cardstock. This collection is so well suited for crafters to make planners, daily journals, mini albums, gorgeous cards with papers reflecting flowers and colors for that month and for all of your scrapbook needs. What I like about this the Graphic 45 Fashion Times collection is the monthly pages in this collection to create projects and cards for each month of imagery of vintage ladies, wonderful sentiments and florals for each season of vibrant colors of sapphire blue, amethyst purples, emerald greens, ruby reds and citrine yellows.
I cut out the classy women and adhered it to the inside of the card with Graphic 45 Fashion Forward Solid Patterned Paper pad. I scan the Graphic 45 Fashion Forward August and added a sentiment using Photoshop and printed it out to personalize the birthday card.
