Handmade notecard holder

Hi crafty friends.  I've been thinking a lot about a friend of mine who has shared some struggles lately and I feel so out of touch with her.  For that I decided to send her a little notecard holder & collection.  Although I do not have the inside cards done I have decorated the outside with Hello Pastel from Prima and some flowers to make a beautiful cover for her notecards that I will be sending her.  I am also showcasing this as my Rubber Buggy dt project of the week for Thursday.

It's super fun and easy to make here are the instructions and what you will need:

Materials:
12 x 12 paper
Embellishments
Ribbon

Instructions:
1.  Fold a 12 x 12 piece of paper in half one way from left to right.
2.  Then fold the paper up from the bottom only half way forming a
folder style fold.  Adhere the far left side and only the far right side so that
you can still tuck your notecards down in the center on each side; just like
a school file folder.
3.  Attach ribbon to the back in the middle of the back; halfway down.
4.  Bring and attach the ribbon at the front again halfway down to create a
ribbon enclosure.
5.  Cover the front and embellish...that is all ...simple & your'e done with the front.

After you do all this then you have a folder that you can insert notecards into for a
very nicely crafted handmade gift.

Thanks so much for watching ~Kelly

Sea & Sky
Pale Pastels
Tuscan Orange

Dreamy dragon

Hi!

It's Pi back with another adorable wee stamp that I coloured with my copics :)

The background is really simple with Prima designer paper. Maybe to simple, I now see that another layer contrasting the layers would have been appropriate...

But the diagonal paper was to busy I wanted to keep the rest simple. Im loving the paper though!
The ribbon is just something from my stash, I got it with a scrapbooking magazine once.

Products used from the Rubber Buggy store:
Prima paper pad 6x6, divine
Wee stamp, dreamy dragon
Copics
WOC open roses 20mm
WOC wild rose, peach
Magnolia chandilier garland, clear & green

You've got that Joie de Vivre

Hi everyone it's Kelly and I am here just a bit late to share my Thursday project with you.  I have a card share and the papers I used you can find over at The Rubber Buggy.com and they are the Graphic 45 French Country collection.  I used only 2 of each paper but they are double sided and I created this beautiful cascade of rolls and then used some of the carnation flowers from the store to add a beautiful touch of flare.  At the bottom I added 3 small dots of stickles to add a little accent to the bottom where the untouched paper is.  I fussy cut the Joie de Vivre notecard from the collection as well and when I say you've got that Joie de Vivre it means you've got that excitement and joy so let's get crafting!

Thanks so much for looking and have a great day!  ~Kelly

Summer Fun

Hi everyone, Steph here today.  If you don't know by now, I LOVE stamps and I was on the hunt for a different stamp to use this month. So,check out this fun Mo Manning stamp I found in the Store - Lacie with Ice Cream.   What a perfect stamp to use for all those summery projects you need to create.

I stamped Lacie on Copic X-Press It Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink,  then colored her with Copic Markers:
Bold Primaries
Floral Favorites
Skin Tones 1

Lacie is sitting on a Spellbinders Circle Die and then a Spellbinders Scalloped Circle die for additional dimension.  The pattern paper is Prima Marketing's Divine 6" x 6" paper pad.  There are so many pretty colors and patterns in this collection.  I used the flag paper and cut the flags to fit my design and then placed stickers on top.

The tiny sentiment is cut from one of the papers in this pack too.

Thank you for visiting.

Oldies but goodies Graphic 45

Hi everyone!

I hope you haven't missed that Kellie now has the new Graphic 45 collections in stock at The Rubber Buggy - great prices and shipping:)

I know I'm getting mine there :)

So I'm using my olde curiosity shoppe paper that I got from the store. Lots of layers going on here, the harderst part is to cover the gorgeous paper - LOL!

I also used the post card stamp from the French Country set#3, tied some ribbon and added a couple of WOC open roses 20mm (sprayed with LSG clam bake beige). But as you see I did not tie the bow very neat so the bingo chip became all crocked.

Products used from the Rubber Buggy store:
Graphic 45 paper pad 8x8
Graphic 45 stamp set
WOC open roses 20mm
Stamp supplies (Memento ink, scor tape)

Also don't miss out on the generous give away on the Rubber Buggy and please join us at the new sketch challenge at the Rubber Buggy Challenge blog.

Have a great day!

I used Tilda Sparkles from Magnolia here and colored her using Copic markers. I also used some

Tilda Princess Pea on vintage swedish bench dt project

Hi everyone it's Kelly here again for project Thursday.  I got the new Tilda Princess Pea stamp and the Vintage swedish bench from TheRubberBuggy and I am so excited to show you what I created.   It's a super simple card which I am pretty familiar with I like easy cards that can go together in  under 30 minutes.  I used a kraft cardstock base for this and then I used the Prima notecards from the meadowlark collection.  I then stamped my Tilda on xpress it cardstock from Rubber Buggy and copic colored her as well then paper pieced her outfit.  I popped up the bench and popped her up on it.  Then I added some Prima pearls in the corners and a beautiful red tinted bow to match her bow in her hair.

Envelope Card

Hello everyone! Indah here. Today I am going to show you an envelope card I made. It's surprisingly easy to make, almost like origami. I didn't even use a score board to make this, just a 12x12 paper folded together to create a card that resembles an envelope.

I used Graphic 45's Coming Up Roses' 12x12 paper from the Secret Garden collection here.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely Monday!!

Prima doll with Hello Pastel

Hi everyone and it's Thursday with Kelly.   I have a fun idea for a project for you.  I created this Prima doll stamp tag for my daughter's friend on her birthday gift.  I decided I wanted to do something a little different .  Instead of using the flesh tone for the body I used the Prima Hello Pastel paper line from The Rubber Buggy.com to make her a cutesie pink color.  I also paper pieced the entire rest of the doll to make it match the entire tag.   I added few trims and flowers and I used a dress form stamp to enhance the girlie in the tag.    No copic coloring on this doll.  It is simply and completely paper pieced. I then glossy accented her body to make it pop a little more than the paper.

Hello

Hi everyone, Steph here today and I'm loving these new Wee Stamps by Whimsey. They are totally adorable!!!

Today I'm using Dandelion Girl and I paired her with some lovely papers from Graphic 45's Secret Garden collection.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink   on Copic Xpress It Cardstock using the following Copic Markers:
Perfect Primaries
Skin Tones

Once the image was colored, I used Ranger's Antique Linen Distress Ink to add a little color around it.

The beautiful trim is May Arts Brown Crocheted Trim   and was the perfect trim for the center of this card.

I tied a small sentiment to the right side of the card and added a little bling to the dandelions.

Purple Classic Card

Hi everyone! It's Monday again and it's Indah here :) Hope you had a lovely weekend. I had a really nice, quiet one and made this classic card.

I used a paper from Graphic 45's Secret Garden Collection called Sun Kissed and then created a layered fan flower with an addition of lace. Then I adhered a wood pale button. This is great when you want to mass-produce cards.

Thanks for visiting and don't forget to pop by The Rubber Buggy store for more awesome goodness!!
