Stamperia Orchid and Cats Planner

Welcome back and Nancy, here, to share a 2021 planner that was covered and embellished with the Stamperia Orchids & Cats collections along with the Craft O'Clock Speciality Coated Paper

Front of Planner
Inside of Planner
Back of Planner

I bought the 2021 planner book online and it already had beautiful sentiments and flowers through the months but I wanted to add that personal touch before giving it to my granddaughter before she goes off to college this winter.

The planner measure 7 1/2" x 9 and will only be covering the front, back and one page on the inside with the beautiful Stamperia Orchid and Cats collection along with the Craft O'Clock Speciality Coated Paper  with the Craft O'Clock Vintage Treasure - A Sheet of Extra embellishments from these two name brands.  Since my granddaughter wants lots of butterflies in her planner, I added these gorgeous butterflies throughout her planner.  I made sure to write in family birthdays and addresses in the monthly planner so that she will be reminded to call them on their birthdays.

The Craft O'Clock Speciality Coated Paper is a specially laminated paper which is more resistant to abrasions during gluing covers of albums/notebooks and  its size of 9 1/2" x 23 1/2" makes gluing cover of album/notebook with one sheet of paper.
I scored the side of the speciality paper first against the planner and applied the  the largest Scor-Tape.  Then I taped the front using the Scor-Tape and then folded the paper over the planner and then taped the back and folded the paper onto the planner.  I used an exacto knife to cut off the excess paper.

I fussy cut the flowers, labels and butterflies.  I used the NUVO Crystal Glaze on the butterflies and labels and let dry overnight.  After I finished each page of the planner, I applied more NUVO Crystal Clear Glaze on the flowers to bring out the colors and add more dimension to the scene.
I used Beacon 3-in-1 Advanced glue to apply the Stamperia Glamour Sparkles-Sparkling White to the front and inside of the planner around the flowers and labels.  I really love the clear chunks of crystals to add that special WOW to each image!

I added the Stamperia Decorative Cat Chipboard and Stamperia Chipboard Orchids and Cat to the back and front of the planner and lightly sponged a light brown ink to the cats before gluing these on with the Beacon 3-in-1 Advanced Glue.  I fussy cut the flowers and used my fingers to mold the back of the flowers and glued the flowers on the edge and adhered to the card.  This gives the flowers a 3D appearance and pops out more.

Have a fabulous crafting day and thanks for visiting.

Friendship Blooms with Memory Box Dies

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here using  the Memory Box Sprinkle Heart Collage in 2 different ways.  This is a wonderful die that has endless possibilities.

My first card uses Lindy's Stamp Gang Shimmer Sprays on cardstock.  Using different colors creates different effects.  You can heat set between the colors for one effect or you can spray color upon color for another effect.  Any of the color combinations in the sets work extremely well together.

Cut Simple Stories Cream Cardstock  to card size then place the die at the right side and die cut.  Save the die cut hearts as they can be used on the finished card.

Place the spritzed panel behind the die cut panel, moving it until the colors show through the hearts.  Mat the panel with Simple Stories Black Cardstock, then adhere to a card base.

Stamp a phrase on cardstock using Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink, mat with black cardstock and add to the card.  Also place some of the die cut hearts on the card.

For the 2nd card, die cut  Simple Stories Red Cardstock and place a solid piece of cream cardstock behind the panel.  Using paper from Dress My Craft Whispering Love collection, cut it so that it fits snuggly against the die cut edge.

Stamp the same and add it to the card with EK Success Foam Adhesives for dimension.

How many different style cards can you create with this die?

Stamperia Forest Birthday Card

Welcome back and Nancy, here.  Would you be needing a nature or fishing card or project?  The perfect start to your forest/nature scrapbooks, cards and more is with the beautiful Stamperia Forest collection!  I have so many outdoor lovers in my family and friends which makes this collection ideal for creating birthday and projects for them.

My card measures 6" x 7 1/2".  I cut out two 5" x 7" different pattern paper in this cardstock and cut out half from corner to corner and adhered together for the background.  Then I adhere the fox picture that measures 4" x 6" on the background.  I used the 1/8" Scor Tape to tape the  yellow jute around the fox picture before adding the next layer of embellishments.
I added the Stamperia Forest Die Cuts chipboard on the front of the card.  I fussy cut the leaves from the collection and added the NUVO Clear Gloss to bring out the colors and add a 3D appearance.

I cut out the sentiments from the collection and added these to the inside of the card.  I typed out the sentiment to my son and sponged on some Ranger Distress Antique Linen Ink around the edges and adhered the card with Beacon 3-in-1 Advanced glue.

To a Dear Friend

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a sweet card for a dear friend.

Using Lawn Fawn Birch Trees, die cut them from Echo Park Light Brown/Dark Brown Cardstock.  The cardinals were die cut from Bazzill Lollipop Cardstock.

Creating a card from brown cardstock, I added a blue background which was die cut from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Windy Backdrop giving the card a feeling of motion.

I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside dies to create some grassy hills at the bottom of my card.  Remember to also use the negative die cut pieces for additional dimension.  The tress were then slipped behind the different hillside layers.  The cardinals were placed on the trees.

A sentiment was added to the bottom of the card and Ranger Ice Stickles were added to each cardinal.

Happy Valentine's Day with Lawn Fawn

H everyone, Steph Ackerman here today wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day.

I've used the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Slimline with Hearts die with the Authentique Romance paper pad.  This is a fun 2 piece die set and I decided to use the hearts for a fun Valentine's Day card, die cutting them from the Authentique paper pad and cardstock.

I die cut an assortment of hearts so I had a bunch to select from in making this card.  I put the other hearts aside for future projects.  Remember to save all the tiny letters as they'll come in handy on future projects too.

I knew I wanted the hearts to stand out, so I added strips of white cardstock behind the hearts.

I adhered 2 papers together and used the scalloped die to create my card topper.

To create my card, I scored Bazzill Licorice Twist Cardstock, then taped it to the die, being sure not to die cut the folded edge.

A perfect card has been created.  However, the folded side does not have the scalloped edge and that is where the card topper comes into play.

Adhere to card topper to the card base, lining up the scallops.  The right side flows over the card giving the full scalloped effect.

I added a small strip across the card (also die cutting it so the scallops would line up) to fill in the empty spacing.   Next I die cut Lawn Fawn's be my valentine from Bazzill Licorice Twist.  Since it was too large for this slim line card, I cut it apart and placed it as you see.

Finally, I selected the hearts I wanted to use and placed the on the card.

Sweet, don't you think?
