Father's Day Card

Father's Day will be here before we know it.... so working ahead so I am ready. Here is a fun card made using  The Rubber Buggy products - Stamperia Sea Land Collection. Add some fun die cuts, twine andlots of inking and it's done.

Supply List
The Rubber Buggy Products
Other: chipboard, dies, twine

For this card I started with a full background and then used the modern tile die cut for texture.
All edges are inked for depth to the card.

I then used amazing print from the papers to tie twine around and knot it.... Added the  sentiment and we have a fabulous male Father's Day card.

Serene Happy Day.... and amazing products

For this page I am sharing a photo of our front outdoor garden at the new house. We will expand things this year when spring finally arrives....but for now I love it. I am using paper called Stamperia Lilac Floral Collection  from The Rubber Buggy and topping it off using lots of amazing chipboards. Working with both these amazing teams allows me to mix and match for the most stunning projects.

To start this page I took a section out to the print paper and fussy cut it out to use as and accent.

I inked the edges so it would show on yet another print paper.

I used lots of my new ink oxides to colour the fabulous chipboards.

I usually lay things out and then take it off again and start gluing from the bottom up. This allows me to make changes if I like.

The newest thing out right now is foam for creating flowers.... and I am using LeCrea Flower Foam and it is amazing and easy to use. There are some fabulous tips, videos etc on how to use it already popping up online... BUT I experimented with making these flowers using a heat gun and it is so simple... and less time than so many other methods. Be sure to experiment on your own and I'd love to hear from you all what you find out and what works best.

Here are a few close ups for your viewing to see more of the details.

Be sure to visit The Rubber Buggy to view these products and so many more that are available.

Thanks for stopping by... see you again soon.

Stamperia Flower Alphabet Altered Box

It is the time of year that both sides of our family have birthdays. The Rubber Buggy on-line store has your Stamperia collection of paper pads that contain ten sheets of 12x12 sheets of double sided paper, each with a different designs.

I love how I can personalize my projects with this gorgeous Stamperia Alphabet Flower papers in this pad that captures the beauty and tranquility of shabby chic or vintage handmade cards, mini albums, journals, and scrapbook pages along with unaltered projects like covering my wooden box that will be filled with  chocolates, card and a gift certificate.  This Stamperia Alphabet Flower paper pad has gorgeous tags, bookmarker, note pads and alphabet squares in this paper pad.

This gorgeous paper with the bookmarkers and note pads are in the Stamperia Alphabet Flower paper pad.  Look at all of the variety of flowers and nature on this paper.

Venise Lace - 1.75 wide White
Graphic 45 Shabby Chic Door Pull
The Rubber Buggy carries a variety of Venise Lace.  I used the white Venise Lace.  The Graphic 45 Shabby Chic Door Pull handle was painted in areas with white gesso from The Rubber Buggy to give it more of a style of vintage and Shabby Chic.  I used a hot glue gun to adhere the lace and handle on the box.

Below photos, I used pink and white foam sheets along with Heartfelt Creations Large Peony and Heartfelt Creations flowers dies and not any stamps to make these handmade flowers.  I lightly added Prima Marketing Prima Soft Oil Pastel crayon magenta along the edges of some of the petals before shaping these petals.  Some people use a sponge for a dried up diaper sheet to apply the soft oil pastels on each petal but that didn't work for me.  I just like applying it lightly around the petals with the Prima Soft Oil Pastel crayons. Don't worry if you get a line or more since the colors will be smooth when you start putting each petal on an iron on medium for about ten seconds and then start shaping the petals.

Heartfelt Creations Bridal Bouquet Small Stamen
Note:  Also, I don't use a stamp but just the die for my petals.  The Rubber Buggy sells each of these items to make foam flowers along with the Heartfelt Creations Bridal small stamen.  Rather than buying stamens in different colors, I like using Copic Markers or just regular inks to color the stamens.  It doesn't take much time and you can rub several stamens on an ink pad at once.  I poke a hole in the center of my flower and use a crochet needle to pull the stamen through the flower and use a hot glue gun on the back of the flower to adhere it.

So I hope I have inspired you to get started on making your foam flowers and using the Stamperia products.   You can purchase these dies and Stamperia papers from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.

Enjoy and Happy Crafting!

Lemon Craft Violet Silence Envelope with Card

Welcome back and wanted to share an envelope and card that I made using the Lemon Craft Violet Silence collection of papers purchased from The Rubber Buggy.   Isn't the paper collection from Lemon Craft Violet Silence just so stunning?  I am using the Lemon Craft butterflies on several of my cards and projects.  Plus the flowers and stamped sentiment always looks more wonderful using the NUVO Aqua Glitter Gloss Pen.  I use this pen somewhere on all of my projects and cards.  It provides just enough glitter to highlight where you use it.

I used basic heavy weight card stock for the base and glued the Lemon Craft Violet Silence paper to the front.  Here is one of my tutorial HERE that will help you make your envelope.

The number 16 for the age is a free die in the Tattered Lace #3 Magazine.  I use this free die of alphabets and numbers often and the size is perfect for many of my projects and cards.  My friends borrow this die often since they like it so much.

I ran out of time to make my flowers and used the beautiful Wild Orchid Craft flowers from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.
Since I have a grand daughter turning 16, I personalized it by adding the 16 to the front of the envelope and adding a typed/printed card glued to the purple paper found in the Lemon Craft Violent Silence paper pack.

The beautiful white border on the envelope is from the Heartfelt Creations Delicate Border die set and the beautiful sentiment is from the Heartfelt Creations Small Petunia stamp set.

The stamped scrolls on each corner is from the Wild Rose Studio Bella Party #2 stamp collection in which you will be seeing one of these stamps from this collection in many of my card in the near future since I just got it.  Look at the adorable butterflies flying around with the Happy Birthday banner.

So I hope I have inspired you to make a card with the gorgeous Lemon Craft Violet Silence paper collection and other craft dies, stamps and supplies from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.
Enjoy and Happy Crafting!
