Happy New Year!

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and it is New Year's Eve.  How do you celebrate?  Do you stay home, go out to dinner, gather with friends?  Well, whatever you do, have fun.

My card was created from Bazzill cardstock and a layer of Graphic45's Steampunk Spells was placed on top.  I used the reverse side so I could stamp the sentiment lightly across the paper creating the perfect background.

Stamping Bella's Opal the Optimist was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Copic MarkersMay Arts ribbon was tied around the card.

Opal was fussy cut then added  with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D foam squares, giving her dimension on the card.

Happy New Year!

Late Christmas card with Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone!

Pi here.
If you're a follower you'll recognise the inspiration for this card :)
I had a Christmas tree of presents envisioned, but it ended up just being a large pile. How ever I grow really fond of that pile and I thought I would be able to build a fun scene.

The Santa penguin is unloading the sweet reindeer and throwing the presents in a big pile.
The pile is made by a lot of masking and again, I thought it would be to busy if the pile would have to compete with the Bokeh background. So I kept it white and simple by just coloring the ribbon and then adding wink of Stella clear glitter to the entire pile. To top it of I also added a flatback pearl in coordinating color to every gift. The sentiment is also a new favorite of mine, where I combine two stamp set Toboggan together and Sweet Christmas.

Products from The Rubber Buggy store:
Lawn Fawn stamp set Toboggan together
Lawn Fawn coordinating die set Toboggan together
Lawn Fawn stamp set Sweet Christmas (only the word Christmas)
Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper pad Let's Bokeh in the snow
Copic markers
Flatback pearls
Wink of Stella Clear glitter
Stamping supplies (Neenah cardstock, doublesided tape, acrylic block)

Lawn Fawn Winter Scene

Hi everyone!

Pi here with a cute winter scene from Lawn Fawn.

I'm loving how easy this one came together and I had a blast making it. I wanted to use my stitched hillside borders and make a snow scene, so I just cut several out from white cardstock. I also wanted to have my little penguins in a snowball fight so I colored a couple of them at once, some with santa hat and some without to have a selection to choose from.

Making those preparations really made the assembly line go speedy. As I started to lay out my scene I realised I was missing trees. I used the tree from Toboggan together as well as sweet Christmas and cut it from bokeh paper. I then edged the sides with Lawn Fawn ink and let me tell you how happy I am with the new mini applicator :D

To top it all of I added another piece of Bokeh paper as the sky and viola!

I hope you like it!

Christmas cards with Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today.  Christmas is coming up fast.  It's time to finish those Christmas cards and Lawn Fawn makes it easy.

I've used Lawn Fawn's In the Snow Petite Pad.  With 32 sheets, there is something for everyone.

Both cards use scraps of papers as well as tags that were included with the paper pack.

Inking the edges of the tags adds a little more interest to the elements.

DIY Christmas Gift Idea with Netra

Hey everyone ! I hope this week has been treating you well !
I have been in such a great mood. Maybe because Christmas is
around the corner. LOL
Today I wanted to share a DIY gift idea with you.
I thought this gift would be an easy giving one.
You know for someone that you are not sure what to get?

Its a picture frame and only a few bucks.
All you need is a chipboard die cut, dollar store frame and embossing powder.
I used a feather chipboard piece by Blue Fern Studio called La Plume
I used versa mark ink to ink the chipboard, sprinkled Ranger Embossing powder in Gold Tinsel on the top, and Super Fine White on the bottom.
Place in on a white piece of paper and add it to a frame.
Easy, quick and oh so pretty !
I hope you like this idea and give it a try.
Hugs.
