Missing You Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a missing you card that is both distressed and pretty.

I started by placing the Memory Box Distress Grid Stencil on cardstock and inked it.

I mounted this panel on Bazzill cardstock then placed a strip of cardstock and lace on top.

The flowers were die cut twice and assembled on a Spellbinders die cut oval.  Inking each piece gave the flowers some nice dimension.

A sentiment from WPlus9 - Miss You Lots - was matted on the same cardstock and added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

May your Glass.....

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with 2 cards using Stamping Bella's Opal the Optimist.

For my first card, I chose to stamp the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored her with Copic Markers.   I fussy cut her and added her to a Spellbinders oval die.  The background is Bazzill cardstock that was embossed and lightly inked with Ranger Distress Ink - Antique Linen.  The sentiment was placed to fit the oval and the image was added with foam adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.

For my second card I also stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with Copic Markers.   This time, though, I used the Spellbinders oval die around her.  I lightly inked the oval with Ranger Distress Ink - Antique Linen - then matted it with Bazzill Cardstock before placing it on paper from Graphic 45's Home Sweet Home collection.

Hi everyone ! I hope you all are well.
Today I am sharing a non baby card with the Heaven Sent collection by Prima.
I love the line for baby projects, but I also LOVE the colors and thought to make
an everyday card with.

Using some die and stamps help bring the look of this card together.
There are soo many themed papers out there, don't forget to look out side the box
and create something totally unexpected.

Enjoy your day.

Stamping Bella Tutorial

Hi it`s Jennifer here with a tutorial on how I create my Stamping Bella Cards.
First I coloured my Image up and then picked some of the colours she was wearing.
I  then picked the ink colours for the background and sequins to match.

I have used The Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackleables the Second
biggest and 4th biggest to cut a Frame.

So it then makes this Gorgeous Frame.

I have then cut one White Card stock and one Accitate to 9.5 x 12.5cm

The Card base is  23.5 x 15cm asnd scored down the centre.

On the White card stock I  sponged  the  3 matching distressed ink colours.
I used Tumbled Glass, Picked Raspberry and  Scattered Straw.
I  flicked water on the inked Card stock and  patted it of with paper towel to lift the ink off.

I then flicked with a brush the 3 ink colours and sprayed it with perfect pearls for sparkle.
Very hard to see though.

I taped the accitate to the frame

I taped doublesided foam tape all the way around leaving no gaps
so the sequins cann't get out. I also ran a powder tool around the inside
edges of the foam tape so the sequins don't stick.

I then stamped the sentiment on the inked paper.
I  taped  the  Inked paper to the back of the Shaker
Ooops I nearly forgot I added a piece of Aqua Cardstock
14.5 x 11.5 under the Shaker section and taped it to
the card base and added my Image using dimensionables.

The colours were not very photogenic as they were softer and bright.
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and cann't wait to see yours.

Copics  used
E0000, E000, E00, E01, E11, E33, E50, E51, E55, E57

Thinking of you cards

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with 2 very different cards using the same products.

I started with a Donna Downey Stencil.  As I only wanted to use the bottom half, I placed the stencil on white cardstock and masked off the top.

Using assorted colors of Dylusions Ink Sprays, I spritzed the stencil.  Overlapping the colors provides a wonderful color scheme.  This is the result.  Since excess sprays remain on the stencil, I flipped it onto another sheet of cardstock, rubbing it onto the cardstock.  A negative image is the result (sorry I forgot to take a picture).

I matted each panel with Bazzill Cardstock, then wrapped coordinating May Arts ribbon around each before adding to another layer of Bazzill Cardstock.   Foam adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L provided dimension.

Using Spellbinders dies, I die cut 3 layers for the front of the reverse stenciled card.  I've used Stamping Bella's Winnie Peaking Out of the Window, stamping the portion I wanted on the white oval using Memento Tuxedo Black InkCopic Markers were then used to color the image.  I just wanted to cover the reversed words.  Stamping Bella's Winnie Peaking Out of the Window also contains the sentiment used on both cards.

Next time you are working with stencils remember to flip them to get a secondary effect.  Looking at this second generation card, you would never know the words behind the image were reversed would you?
