Magnolia Tilda - Face Tutorial

Hi Everyone it's Jennifer here with a quick tutorial on how I colour my
Tilda's faces with lots of photo's as I have had a lot of requests.

First I stamp my Tilda today I used Daffodil Tilda
I stamped her up with my Misti  using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
I have coloured her in Copics. So first I have roughly coloured her face
in E0000.

Then I have started the highlights using E01 around her face.

Then straight over the top I used E11 as it makes the blending
of the dark colour easier and no lines left.

Then I blend out from the E11 using the E01.
See no lines.

Then I blend further into the centre of her face with the E00.
I also put a flick from one eye 3/4 of the way to the other eye.

I then come in even further with my E00 .

Then over the centre with the E0000.

I then repeat the process from the start as it gives her face lots
of depth. So here I have gone around her face in the E11 I didn't
have to use the E01 again there as I already had ink laid
down so it would blend easily.

Next I used the E01. you can see her face getting darker.

Then the E00 bringing it closer again to the centre.

Then I used E0000 over the whole lot.

Now to do the cheeks I usually use R20 but mine just decided to run
out and I had to use R21. Now to do them I do 3 small circles
around the dots on the cheeks as in the first cheek. I keep doing that
until they connect like on the second pic.

I then go over the cheeks with E000 and then the
whole bottom half of her face with E0000 to smooth all the lines

I always add the 3 white dots to her cheeks.

There you go all done dont forget she will fade a
bit as she dries.

A dry face.

Stunning Cards using Heartfelt Creations All Glammed Up Collection

Hi... Bev here today. So how are you and where did January go? Time flies far too fast.  I am super excited to share a few cards today.  I am using products from The Rubber Buggy to make these cards along with my ScraPerfect new Best Glue Ever and the non clog fine tip writing tip it is so much easier to create using fine lines, dies and almost everything you need to use glue on.

All the cards are using Heartfelt Creations All Glammed Up Paper Collection. Stamps and Dies.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products:
Paper: Heartfelt Creation All Glammed Up
Dies: Daisy Patch Die Cut Systems  Elegant Border BasicsHeartfelt Sentiments
Other: Cardstock,Lace, Beads, Ribbon
ScraPerfect Products used: Best Glue Ever, Best Cleaner Ever: Perfect Crafting Pouch, non clog writing tip

Using the Heartfelt Creations floral stamp and die cuts I got my flowers started.

I applied stickles and glossy accents both using the non clog fine tip applicator from ScraPerfect.

I separated the panels with a fabulous elegant border.

Flowers are glittered and enamel dot centres applied.

Up next is another floral card using all the same products.. just some easy design changes, different prints for the collection and some fun accents.

I cut and popped up a print from the collection to add texture and depth to this card.

See the layers coming together.

Made more flowers using the Deluxe Shaping kit, stamped and die cut flowers.

Hand cut some print flowers to add, stamped the sentiment and matted it along with adding raised 3D flowers.

On this one I added some lace and beads for elegance.

Here you view the stamp and matted sentiment and corner enamel dot and some beads.

From this side view you can see the  layers in the flowers adding amazing depth to a card.

Lastly we have another card. This one has lots of fun prints from the collection with great die cut accents and a few accents. All these are using the same paper collection but they all look so different.

After die cutting some of the base images and the border I using Best Glue Ever to adhere the thin fussy die cut border. The super fine non clog tip is amazing and the best ever.

I added cardstock layers for more depth and color, added the red matting behind the flourish die section and add some red brads in the upper right corner.
To separate the pattern papers I tied a bow and mounted it on top of the border ribbon. When I was done doing the ribbon border I got some glue where I didn't want it.. but that was easily remedied using the Perfect Crafting Pouch which gently wiping across the ribbon took out all the sticky feel.

Another view of this card  showing all the amazing fussy die cuts.

Wonderful You

The Rubber Buggy carries some of the most beautiful supplies like this Heartfelt Creations Blushing Rose Swirls stamp and Heartfelt Creations Blushing Swirls die set as well as the gorgeous
Blue Fern Studio-Courtship-Lover's Lane paper.  I used Copic markers to color the roses and leaves.  I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using the Heartfelt Creations Blushing Swirls banner from this set.

The NUVO-Crystal Drops-Gloss-Dandelion Yellow was used around the frame and the corners to finish this card.  I love how the NUVO drops form flat-back pearl-like shapes.  I am starting to have a nice collection of NUVO colors and would highly recommend NUVO Crystal Drops to you.  It looks like you need to cut the tip off when you first open the NUVO bottle but don't do that since it is ready to pour out.  (I made that mistake for awhile)

Now it is your turn to try these products out from
The Rubber Buggy and see what you create!

Remember to visit The Rubber Buggy store to shop for those gorgeous dies, stamp supplies and other supplies for all of your projects, scrap booking and card making.

The Rubber Buggy Design Team has something new to share here.   Pop in often and see for yourself what is being shared by this talented group of inspiring designers!!

I'll be back again next Saturday with a new card or project.

In the meantime, here are all The Rubber Buggy quick links you will need:
