For A Sweet Valentine's Day

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

It's almost Valentine's Day and the Authentique Romance paper collection is perfect for any sweet Valentine's projects.

Creating a card from Bazzill Candy Bar cardstock, I used Lawn Fawn dies - Small Stitched 4 Bar Rectangles and  Large Stitched 4 Bar Rectangles - to cut the layers from the Romance collection and cardstock.  These dies are perfectly matched to allow for stacking.  I actually used the reverse side of the rose pattern paper for the center of the card.  Then, cutting small photos from the Romance collection, I matted them and added them to the card.

Finally, I used the smallest die of the Large Stitched 4 Bar Rectangles to cut a phrase from the Authentique paper.

Next, I created a sweet bag of hearts to accompany the card using the same paper pad.

Valentine's Shaker Card

Welcome back and Nancy, here.  Valentine's Day is February 14 and just around the corner.  The Rubber Buggy has all of the wonderful name-brand craft supplies to get you started on your Valentine's cards and projects.  Order soon while supplies are available.

I made this Valentine's shaker card using the adorable Magnolia Stamp Tilda With Dot Bow along with the Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Stackable Frame

 Lemon Craft Sweet Secrets
Lawn Fawn Be My Valentine Border Cut

The card is made with the gorgeous  Lemon Craft Sweet Secrets cardstock.

Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Stackable Frame
To make the shaker box, I used the smallest die in this die set and cut two with white cardstock, one with solid pink cardstock and one with clear acrylic sheet.  I glued the acrylic to back of one white scallop frame and added the 3D foam. I used spray glue for the Lawn Fawn Be My Valentine Border  white cardstock  to adhere to the front of the pink cardstock.  I added the sequins before tearing the back of the Scrapybook Adhsives 3D Foam Squares  to adhere it to the other white scallop frame to complete the shaker box.  I used the Beacon 3 n 1 Advanced glue to adhere the back of the shaker box onto the card.  I cut out the Magnolia girl and adhered it to the top of the shaker box with this clear glue.
I adhered the shaker box and Magnolia Stamp to the beautiful Lemon Craft Sweet Secrets paper.  Isn't this a gorgeous paper collection.  Make sure you check out the other gorgeous Lemon Craft Sweet Secret collections from The Rubber Buggy along with the papers for the embellishments that coordinate with the Sweet Secret collection.

I finished the card with Venice Lace and a pink bow with a heart embellishment tied into the bow.  I cut out four scallop borders and glued behind the card.

I hope I have inspired you try out these products available at The Rubber Buggy on-line store.  My cards and projects are always posted on Saturday.  Keep watching and thank you so much for those wonderful comments as well as suggestions.
Enjoy and Happy Crafting!

Oh la la Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the products I've used today.

Oh la la! from Carabelle Studios was stamped with Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink on white cardstock then die cut with Lawn Fawn Rectangle dies, inked with Lawn Fawn Wild Rose ink, then matted on Lawn Fawn Watercolor Wishes pattern paper.  She was stamped again on Prima Misty Rose and the dress was fussy cut and added to the main image.

I added some color with Copic Markers.  The panel was then added to Lawn Fawn cardstock.

Tiny tags were cut from the Misty Rose paper and added to the corner.

Framed - Birthday Girl

Hi it's Jennifer and I created a Cute Little Birthday Card
using an Adorable Stamp from Wild Rose Studio Birthday Girl.
I  coloured her up with Copics first off.
So then  I wanted to do something a little different this time.
A made a Frame by die cutting a LF Stitched Scalloped Square and
cutting out the inside using the second largest LF Stitched Square.
Then to create the next size down frame I used the Memory Box
Largest Stitched Square Die and 4th Size down to cut the centre out.
I then layered each piece down using 3D Tape to create this
gorgeous frame.
I also layered it on Lemon Craft paper and then on to a card base
so I had to work from the front to the base.
I also Copiced a small piece of string and popped through a couple
of buttons and glue dotted them on.
For the Happy Birthday from LF I die Cut 2 White and 1 Aqua and layered
then just off centre so you can see the aqua.

I am mixing up products from The Rubber Buggy with lots of fun challenges.at the SNS's New Beginnings Crop.  I am going to play along.... so this page is done using Sketch #97 and twist is to add some buttons.
I am using Simple Stories Simple Vintage Christmas Collection with lots of the matching accents all from The Rubber Buggy.
This page is Christmas Eve at mom's celebrating with family.

The next crop challenge is card sketch #75 and twist is to add sparkle which I did using sparkle cardstock layers. I am still using Simple Stories Simple Vintage Christmas Collection with lots of the matching accents. I also twisted the skctch to fit the paper. Stamping on the inside is done using my Tim Holtz platform. .. it makes stamping so much better and easier.
