Tulip Cards

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Dies are at the center of my first card using Bazzill Sour Lemon and Gummy Bear Cardstocks.  Once added to the card, I die cut the MemoryBox Tulip Bouquet from both Lawn Fawn White Cardstock and  Bazzil Sour Lemon Cardstock.
Remember to save all the little pieces!

I adhered the white tulips to the corner using a Nuvo Fine Tip Glue Pen.  Then I placed the yellow die cuts inside.

The card was created from Lawn Fawn Kraft Cardstock and scored using the Scor-Pal Score Board.  The panel was then added on top and a phrase added across the top.

The remaining die cut yellow tulips were added atop Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Circle Dies, die cut from Lawn Fawn White CardstockBazzill Sour Lemon and Gummy Bear Cardstocks then added to a brown panel die cut from Lawn Fawn Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Dies and added to a Lawn Fawn Kraft Cardstock.  Phrase added to the corner.

Art Impressions Water Color Card

Hello Friends!  Debbie with you today sharing another watercolor Art Impressions card featuring the Mini Wooden Chair stamp set.  This set comes with flowers and vines, a cute pot and the chair.  It's so much fun to play with.  I'm still playing with these trying to perfect the technique but having a blast while I'm doing it! You can purchase this stamp set in the Rubber Buggy Store.

To create this card I started off with the background.  I sprayed a piece of watercolor paper with water and then added some distress ink to it and dried it with a heat gun as I was moving the color around the paper.

Next step is to stamp the Pot where you think you may want it.  I wanted it to sit on the chair.  I made a mask for the pot and then stamped the chair over it.

With a dampened small round brush I started moving the ink around.  I used my watercolor brush markers to stamp with.  Next step was to stamp the flowers and vines.  I started with the vines and then stamped over them with the flowers.

The sentiment stamp is from my stash.

I stamped 5 more pots using the same techniques.

The sentiment stamp is from my stash and I always make an envelope to match my card.

Thanks for stopping by the Rubber Buggy Blog today!

    Stamperia Voyages Fantastiques Graduation Cards

Graduation is upon us and I am excited to share two steam puck graduation cards that I made for males with the Stamperia 12 x 12 Voyages Fantastiques paper collection.
Stamperia 12 x 12 Voyages Fantastiques paper collection
The Rubber Buggy carries these major name-brand craft supplies with fast delivery and wonderful customer services.

I love working with Stamperia paper collections.  I used Prima Marketing Finnabair Mechanicals Set Harware Accent hardware and Prima Marketing black gesso with the Prima Marketing Art Alchemy Metallique wax Rose Gold and Prima Marketing Acrylic paints such as Rush Gold cans to cover the gears. I used a paint brush for the gesso and paint and rubbered the wax on the gears with my fingers.  I used a hot glue gun to adhere the metal embellishments on the card.  Otherwise, I used the Beacon 3-n-1 Advanced glue to adhere the layers of paper.   Some of the gears were cut out with a die such as the Memory Box Deluxe Gear set die and Memory Box Gear Assembly die set.  Also added were embellishments which are discontinued but very similar to Tim Holtz Idea-ology Metal Adornments collections.  In the card below, the beautiful amber stone is from the Prima Marketing Finnabair Art Ingredient Melange - Vintage Art Pebbles.

Below is the paper that I used in the Stamperia 12 x 12 Voyages Fantastiques paper pad to make my cards.

    Art Impressions Water Color Card

Hello friends!  Debbie with you today sharing a water color card featuring Art Impressions! These stamps are so much fun and you really don't need to be a water color artist to look like one!  For this card I used 3 sets of stamps, Dog Set and the Mini Wooden Chair Set, and the Bench set.

For this card all you need is water based markers such as Tombow or Marvey and some good water color paper and a good water color brush.  I used Prima's #4 Round brush, also available in the Rubber Buggy store. To learn this technique I watched a few videos on you tube and then proceeded to create.  Easy Peasy!

     Warning:  it's addicting!

When I was finished I simply mounted it on pink cardstock, stamped a sentiment and adhered it to an A2 card base.

Thank you for stopping by the Rubber Buggy blog today and be sure to visit the store for these fun stamps and products.

      Graduation Card

Welcome back and I am excited to share a shabby chic Graduation card.  Hard to believe that graduation is here already.  The Rubber Buggy has all of those name brand products with wonderful customer service for your next project.

Pion Design Sweet Baby Forget Me Not
I love the quality and patterned papers of the Pion Design collections.  The Rubber Buggy just received the newest arrivals of the Pion Design.  Also, I cut out the lace paper and butterfly from the the Pion Design Linneaus Botanical Journal paper.   I used my sewing machine to stitched the edges.

The scroll was made using the Prima Marketing Vintage Art Decor-Louis mould with the Prima Marketing Paper Clay and another one with the Stamperia Soft Paper clay to try out the brands.  So far, I prefer the Stamperia Extra Light Soft Paper clay but will need more practice with the Prima Marketing Paper Clay.
Make sure to sprinkle baby powder or regular corn starch in any mould before using inserting the  paper clay in the mold.  Otherwise, you most likely will have problems with breaking the scrolls when getting the scrolls out of the mould.  Also, I use just Beacon 3 n 1 Advanced glue when my scroll breaks getting it out of the mould.  I used a paint brush and applied white gesso from the Prima Marketing Finnabiar Art Basic collection to the scrolls.  When dried, I sprayed some water on my coral ink pad and applied the ink on the scrolls along with some Prima Marketing Gold Rush colored metallic paste.  I used the Beacon 3 n 1 Advanced glue to adhere the scrolls on the card.

I typed and printed the sentiment and die cut it with an oval die.  I sponged the sentiment along with the edges of the card with the Tim Holtz Distress Antique Linen ink and framed with a chipboard that was coated with Prima Marketing Art Alchemy Rose Gold  paint.

I used my fingers to apply Prima Marketing white gesso from the Prima Marketing Finnabiar Art Basic collection and then Prima Marketing Art Alchemy Rose Gold wax to the metal corner embellishments and used a hot glue gun to adhere the metal to the corner of the card.  I used my fingers and applied the same wax along with the Prima Marketing Gold Rush on top of the wax to the chipboard.  I end up with a lot of gold fingers that washes off with soap and water.

My cards and projects are always posted on Saturday.  Keep watching and thank you so much for those wonderful comments as well as suggestions.
      Enjoy and Happy Crafting!
