Project life week 16

Hi everyone!

Pi here with a project life spread.
Maybe you recognise the layout from last week's post, where I showed you how I already in my planner start my process. You can read more HERE.

For my title card I have used Lawn Fawn paper and stickers from Simple stories. I print my photos to fill the pockets, but really like to add a sticker phrase. I love the phrase from Simple stories as I reflect over just how much colour has been added to my life since I became a mother.
With Lawn Fawn stamps I made my own journaling card where I'm checking of signs of spring. I also added the same stamps in order to tell a story about a doctors appointment. I love how the distress ink was a perfect match to the Lawn Fawn paper.

Products from The Rubber Buggy store:
Lawn Fawn paper Let's Bokeh in the snow
Simple stories cardstock stickers Life in color
Lawn Fawn stitched border dies
Lawn  Fawn stamp set Plan on it
Tim Holtz distress ink Mowed Lawn

Thank you for visiting!

I'm afraid this will be my last post for The Rubber Buggy, as family and work leaves less time to craft. I thank you all for your great support and I will miss being a part of this talented design team.

Tomorrow is a new day

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a card celebrating spring.

The card is 5 1/2" square and was created from Bazzill Gummy Bear cardstock.  Graphic 45 creates amazing papers so I've used both sides of the paper.  Each was matted on Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock.

The top panel was wrapped with May Arts ribbon and added to the card with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.

The sentiment is from A New Day from WPlus9.  Spellbinders dies were used to die cut the sentiment..

Planning with Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone!

Pi here with a little planning using Lawn Fawn stamps.

I use them in order to pimp up my planner, but also as you can see in the right corner that I used them to plan my project life spread.

I have stamped labels and colored them with copic markers. I also keep a couple of spares in case I need to add them during the week. I'm super excited about the new planner stamps Lawn Fawn just released, that way I can add the dates differently.

Stay tuned as I next week will show how the PL-spread turned out.

Products used from The Rubber Buggy store:

Create Sunshine

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a card celebrating spring.

I've used some amazing Blue Fern Studio papers from their Sanctuary line.  This paper is appropriately named as Meadows of Time.

This is actually a scrap left over from another project.  It was way to pretty not to use so I kept the card simple by incorporating 2 different colors of cardstock - Candy Bar, Jaw Breaker Bazzill.

The sentiment is from Stamping Bella - Sunny is Stylish - and fit perfectly in the die cut opening.

Coffee tasting layout

Hi everyone!

Pi here.

This time I have a layout of a coffee tasting, I'm really a tea drinker.
But as I work in construktion I thought I'd better learn to drink coffee.
Don't get me wrong - I love coffee, in a large cup with double the amount of milk and hazelnut or caramell sirup. Hahaha!

Anyway, I had more fun than I anticipated and I liked it so much I surprised myself.

For this layout I imideatly thought of Lawn Fawn Love you a latte stamp set and I stamped my own background. I also mixed it up with several graphic 45 collections.

The red strip at the top and the bottom is from French country, the scripty background is from A botanical garden, the letters, coffee bean and text embellishments are from Steampunk spells.

I really think I was super creative when I scattered the little beans as sequins on the page.

Graphic 45 Steampunk spells 6x6 paper pad (not in stock anly longer though)
Stamping supplies (doublesided tape, acrylic block, paper trimmer, stamp storage sleeves)

I hope you liked it.

Thinking of You

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a card celebrating spring and thinking of you.

The store is full of amazing products and I chose this beautiful Butterfly Vine from Memory Box to work with.  It's very delicate.  I first died it from Easter Grass cardstock.  Because I wanted the butterfly to take center stage, I also die cut it from Cotton Candy cardstock.

I used Spellbinders dies to center the vine on, using Cotton Candy and Marshamallow cardstocks.

Thinking of You is from Stamping Bella, was stamped on white cardstock and then punched out.  Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L were used to add dimension.

Fabulous Frolic Collection from Blue Fern Studios

Hi Bev here today at The Rubber Buggy. I am sharing the page I submitted to April Blue Fern Studio Sketch Challenge. I used Blue Fern Studio Frolic collection and lots of their chipboards that I copic coloured.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products:
Chipboard: Blue Fern Studios Bohemian Butterflies, Arrow Words, Collage Border
Markers: Copics
Sketch: Blue Fern Studio April challenge
Other: lace, black pen, Color Box

Here is the link to last months sketch challenge. What a fabulous sketch.. be sure  to check out what sketch is up next.

In the close ups I'll show the different areas of the sketch. Here is the bottom right corner where I fussy cut corner flowers, inked, stickled and popped up.
Also notice the great layers of papers and the copic coloured chipboard border and title.

This section is the bottom left side where I did the same thing to the popped up floral section.
Amongst the layers of papers I added yet another section of fussy cut, inked and popped up flowers and added some small copic coloured pieces for added greenery and depth.

In this section it details all the amazing colours. layers, pop up and fun chipboard that were used to highlight the great photo.

This top central section has a popped up floral with some copic coloured greenery and the fabulous copic coloured butterfly is a beautiful accent to this page.

This showcases the central photo section with all the fab accents, colours and layers ... but still the photo pops off the page. This is the most important part when scrapping... the photo.

Thanks for stopping by...... see you again ....  soon. Enjoy your day.
