Christmas in July layouts using The Rubber Buggy Products

Hi it's Bev here and this month I have been on a Christmas in July kick. I did lots of cards and also did these layouts above using the sketches from Sketch n Scrap.  Authentique Jolly Christmas Collection with matching stickers from The Rubber Buggy is the base of my pages but I added lots of xmas stickers some popped up for dimension and some flat from my stash. I used Whisker Graphics twine and wrapped it around the papers. I also used a tied ribbon bow accent.
(the photos are not on photo paper as I still need to buy some... will replace them later)
This collection is fun and bright and they mix and match so well.... don't be afraid to layers prints on prints... just alter them dark and light for a great effect.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products
Paper: Authentique Jolly Christmas and sticker sheet
Other: twine, cardstock, misc stash accents, black pen

There are so many products in the STORE like these and lots more so you can create and theme so many occasions when you celebrate.

Rustic Truck

Welcome back Rubber Buggy bloggers.  Take a look at all of the new arrivals at
The Rubber Buggy.  You'll want to start ordering your Christmas stamps and die sets before these items are soon to be sold out.

I am excited to share my steam puck card made with gorgeous supplies, paper, and chipboard available at The Rubber Buggy.  I am still learning about mixed media so would love to hear what you have to say about working with gesso, inks, paste, etc. and any recommendations so that we can all learn together.  If you are new at mixed media, I would suggest the Prima Marketing Finnabair Mixed Media Essential Gesso set of black, white and clear that comes in 2 ounce bottles. I am experimenting with the black, white and clear gesso and really fond of the clear gesso for most of my use. I used a lot of white gesso on my knobs for Shabby Chic gift boxes that I made for a wedding.

7 Gypsies Architextures Findings Adhesive Embellishments - Red Tow Truck

49 and Market  Chipboard Sets - Timeless White

I used my fingers to spread the clear gesso on the chipboard gears and clock and let dry.   I used my fingers to apply the gorgeous Prima Marketing waxes on the gear, clock and tow truck.  I used a hot glue gun to adhere the metal gears to the card.  The background was embossed with the new Sizzix 3D Gear embossing folder and I applied the same clear gesso and Prima Marketing waxes on it as well.

I hope I have inspired you try out these products available at The Rubber Buggy on-line store.  My cards and projects are always posted on Saturday.  Keep watching and thank you so much for those wonderful comments as well as suggestions.
Enjoy and Happy Crafting!

Floral Birthday Cards with Heartfelt Creations

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Using the Heartfelt Creations Classic Petunia stamp set and coordinating die set, I created flowers and leaves from Lemon Craft Violet Silence paper collection.  The Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping kit was perfect for forming the flowers, giving them a more realistic look

I cut a panel of Lemon Craft to fit the card and inked the edges.  I die cut the center and placed another sheet behind the opening.  One of the sentiments from the Classic Petunia stamp set was stamped in the opening.  Pattern paper die cuts were added around the opening and the flowers and leaves were then adhered.  A second sentiment was added in the lower corner.

I created a second card using the left over paper from my first card.  Then I added die cut circles from the first card for the center of the card.  The Classic Rose die was used to create the vine behind the circles.  The extra flowers created above were then added around the circle, and the birthday sentiment added.

Finally, I added Tonic Studio Crystal Drops in the center of each flower.

Thank you for visiting

Graphic 45 Imagine Keepsake gift Box

Welcome back and I would love to share a keepsake gift box that I made for my niece's birthday.  It will be filled with chocolates, jewelry, and other items.
I am having a lot of fun experimenting with the mixed media products from Prima Marketing and Tim Holtz along with the gorgeous paper collections that are all available from The Rubber Buggy. The top of the box was made using the gorgeous new Graphic 45 Imagine paper.  I just love this collection from Graphic 45 Imagine.
I used Prima Marketing self-adhesive tape and Beacon 1-2-3 glue to adhere this gorgeous paper on top of the box. I took some lace and colored it with stamping ink of rust and cream ink colors.  I used a hot glue gun to adhere the lace and all of the embellishments on the box.  You can see the gorgeous Prima Marketing Crystals around the top of the box.

Since I didn't have the rest of the Graphic 45 Imagine collection, I used other Graphic 45 papers to cover the rest of the box.  This paper matched very well of the Graphic 45 Imagine, especially the fairies that look like the fairies on top of the box.

I covered the back of the box with Graphic 45 Imagine - Adventure Beckon and the rest with the other Graphic 45 papers.
Below, is the bottom of the box. I always like using my stamp to autographic my cards and projects.
Below, I covered the gears with the Prima Marketing Clear Gesso and then colored the gears and clock with the wonderful Prima Marketing Waxes of Copper, Red Amber, Brass and Prima Marketing Dragon Sparks.  I applied with a hot glue gun the Prima Marketing Crystals around the top of the box.  I love the gold in the pink and blue crystals.  You can see one crystal on her cheek and the other crystals in the gears and on the clock.  The gears, clock and token are from Tim Holtz.
I handmade the foamiran flowers using cream foamiran and sponged on red and orange water-based crayons.  I colored the metal butterfly with the Prima Marketing Dragon Eye Sparks and Prima Marketing Rich Copper Wax. The metal corner is from Tim Holtz and colored with Prima Marketing waxes.
The metal flower is from the Prima Marketing - Finnabair Mechanicals Metal Flower Embellishments  and colored with Prima Marketing Art Alchemy - Metallique Wax - Rich Copper and Prima Marketing Art Alchemey - Antique Brilliance Red Amber wax.  The stamens of the flower was colored with the Prima Marketing Acrylic Paint Sparks - Dragon Eye which adds a touch of shine to the stamens.

Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Metal Vignette Accents

Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Metal Gadget Gears 1.5" To 2"

Prima Marketing - Finnabair Mechanicals Metal Flower Embellishments

Prima Marketing Memory Hardware 1" double sided tape
I hope I have inspired you try out these products available at The Rubber Buggy on-line store.  My cards and projects are always posted on Saturday.  Keep watching and thank you so much for those wonderful comments as well as suggestions.
Enjoy and Happy Crafting!
