For this week I have created a handmade gift card and a box to give it in.

Products used from the store:
Magnolia rubber stamp A merry Christmas text
Magnolia rubber stamp silent night
Magnolia Shabby chic Chandelier garland white
WOC 10mm open roses, white (coloured with LSG)
WOC 15mm open roses, white ( coloured with LSG)

Bakers twine, seafoam
Lace with pearl center 5/8

G45 French Country Holiday layout

Every year I make a Christmas layout for my mom to put in a frame.  I use my daughters photo from school so she can see her grow & become more and more beautiful as the years go by.  I did put a mat over my daughters photo but you can tell I made the layout really simple but yet elegant and simply stated.

The few material I used were:
French Country Graphic 45 paper from The Rubber Buggy.

Prima Mulberry flower
Websters pages stick pin
White doily
Recollections bling
Red velvet scalloped ribbon

Have a very Happy New Year and best wishes to all!

Party!

Good morning and a very Merry Christmas.  Hope this day brings you peace and joy.

Steph here today wishing you lots of party time.  I've used a  Prima Mixed Media Doll stamps by Julie Nutting, cutting off her legs.  I stamped her again on Bo Bunny's Trail  Mix pattern paper to give her dress another color.  After fussy cutting her, I added her to a Spellbinders Grand oval, then placed it on a card using Bo Bunny's Christmas papers.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth...

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I hope you all are enjoying these times and are not completely stressed out. So please feel free to grab a cup of any beverage of your choice and relax for a few minutes :)

Here is my fav Christmas card of 2013 and it was super easy to make - let me tell you how.

First, All the layers on the background are from Graphic 45, super fab colour scheme - so easy to coordinate. I then die cut a decorative label one, the largest one and stamped my wee stamp in memento tuxedo black. Don't you just love this little cutie - how could you resist? The colouring came together super easy, red, green and some E-numbers and call it done.

To add some sparkle I've sprinkled Martha Stewart super fine glitter in crystal and copper on the bauble. The ribbon across the card is from my stash, but there are plenty of grossgrain or other ribbons in the store for you to choose from.

Embellishment was glued down with hot glue. The pine branches are from a Cheery Lynn die, but in graphic 45 paper. I've hidden the glue underneath a larger flatback. I've also used a flatback on the MFT snowflake that I've placed near the sentiment which is stamped in memento rich cocoa.

Products used from the store:
Graphic 45 paper pad 6x6, solids and patterns 12 days of Christmas
Wee stamp, xmas hamster
Copic markers
Magnolia stamp, A merry Christmas text
Spellbinders decorative labels one
MFT die-namics let it snowflake, the smallest
WOC small pionsettas, white

Thank you for visiting!
I hope you enjoyed :)

Merry Christmas to all!!!

Play More

Good evening,  Steph here today using some more papers from Wild Rose Studio's Vintage Rose 6" x 6" paper pad. I love this collection with it's soft, subtle colors that work so well together.

Today, I've got a fun card using just the legs from the Prima Mixed Media Doll stamps by Julie Nutting.  I adore these stamps, but sometimes find they are too tall for the cards I create.   Rather than throwing away the legs, I hold onto them till I think of a  fun way to use them.

Adhere the legs to the bottom half of the card and then add a strip of cardstock across them.  Stamp the Wild Rose Studio Circle Greetings  in black ink and die cut.  Add a larger die cut, then ink the edges with Clearsnap ink.

Place the sentiment in a Tim Holtz Memo Pin and push it through the paper.

Thank you for visiting.

Merry Christmas with Graphic 45

Hi everyone!

Can you believe that it is only one week left to Christmas?!
I know you must be superbusy, so thank you for taking the time out of your hectic schedule to see me!

So in order not to delay you, here is my card for The Rubber Buggy.

The image is from Graphic 45 place in time 12x12. With some layers. The polka dot paper is from my stash, but there are also some layers with Graphic 45 12 days of Christmas pattern & solids 6x6.

I've also tucked some Magnolia die cut tags to create some movements and I've added a couple of snowflakes from MFT. Otherwise the only non-paper embellishment is the twine and the flat back crystals.

Graphic 45 place in time 12x12
Graphic 45 12 days of Christmas pattern & solids 6x6
Magnolia die cut tag
MFT die-namic let it snowflake
Bakers twine
Flat back crystals

Merry Christmas with The Rubber Buggy dt card

Hi friends, well it's getting down to the wire and I am quickly finding ways to make really easy cards for christmas.  I used an MFT die from the Rubber Buggy and it came out so pretty.  I used the fence die and decorated it with laces and pearls.  I added a christmas tree and some stickled and painted snow to brighten it up a bit ; so here is what the end result is.  So fun and done in under 30 minutes.  You can find the fence die from MFT over at The Rubber Buggy  as well as the paper line from G45 called French Country and try making this one for yourself.  I wish you all a very Merry Christmas only 2 weeks from today till Santa comes I hope you are all ready!

Thanks for looking ~Kelly

Happy Birthday

Good morning Steph here with Waiting Tilda from the Magnolia You Are So Special collection.

I stamped her on Copic X-Press it Cardstock and decided to color her with Copic Markers in shades of purple to mimic the background papers I used from Graphic 45's Secret Garden 6" x 6" paper pad. This pad consists of printed paper and coordinating solid papers so matching is a breeze. Brown cardstock really helped show off how beautiful the papers are. A small strip was used along the left side of the card and a Spellbinders die was added on top.

After fussy cutting the image, I mounted her on the dies with foam adhesives for dimension.

CAS Christmas

Hi everyone!

Pi here

I'm loving Maja design's paper and now Kellie has stocked several of her paper pads:)
Hurray for The Rubber Buggy!!!

But I really want to show the paper, so here's what I came up with. The paper is from Maja Design Vintage winter.

I layered the paper, used dies and dry embossing for depth and texture. I don't know the brand of the stamps, but they come in a sheet pre-mounted. If you know by whom, please let me know - but it's probably a Swedish company. It says Christmas greetings on the front and Merry Christmas inside.

I have used a punch by ek success and MFT's decorative doily on the front and MFT sweet stacks inside. On the front I also have used cuttlebugs rough diamond and used tim holtz technique when he stamps on the folder to get a print on the non raised areas. (If you don't understand what technique I'm talking about, please let me know or if you would like a tutorial) All papers have been distressed with Vintage Photo.

Super easy and super fast to put together.

Graphic 45 French Country gathered paper card tutorial

Hi everyone it's Kelly and I have been inspired this week.  I saw a card tutorial by Gabrielle Polacco and I truly absolutely adored her card and so this was my creation that was inspired by her card called Gathered Paper Card Tutorial.  I made this a Christmas Holiday card but I used the paper stack called French Country sold at The Rubber Buggy.

I will have a tutorial up on my youtube channel by tomorrow so you can check that out here:
Kelly's youtube channel tutorial

Here is the project:

Thanks for looking and have a great week!  ~Kelly

Thinking of You

Good morning Steph here today using some more papers from Graphic 45's Secret Garden 6" x 6" paper pad. I love this collection with it's soft, subtle colors and I can always find wonderful cards to create with this amazing collection.

I love the soft browns in this sheet of paper so I paired it with some brown cardstock and gently inked the edges of the paper before adhering to the card. I also used a sheet of paper from the 12" x 12" pad, and, cutting apart the paper, I used elements for the focal point, placing them on a die cut circle.

The stamped sentiment is from Wild Rose Studio's Circle Greetings, which contains 6 different sentiments for any occasion. I also inked it with brown ink, then die cut to create the focal element of the card.

Thankful for Friends Chef Tilda Dt project

I'm very thankful for my friends this holiday season and so that is why I decided to do a Friends card for Thanksgiving.  This image is from the Yummy in the Tummy collection and she is Chef Tilda from The Rubber Buggy store.   .   I colored her with my copics, the background paper is Prima from a retired line.  I added a scallop in red and a little ribbon and flower on top.  The friends title is from the DCWV paper collection called Wild Splendour.  I used the same paper line to create little covers for these treats that I am giving out at Thanksgiving.   So here is my card I hope that you like it and I wish you all a very blessed Thanksgiving.

Tim Holtz's caged bird with Graphic 45's steampunk spell

Hi everyone!

Have you noticed that Kellie has stocked with some great Tim Holtz Alteration dies in the store?

Here I used the caged bird (I don't actually have the die, but received mine in a swap through CCL), but doesn't it go wonderful with the steampunk spells paper from G45 :)

I coloured the bird with black acrylic paint and the cage is painted with Lumiere sunset gold, I then rubbed some black acrylic paint to distress it somewhat. The black satin ribbon is from my stash, but there are similar in the store.

The top of the cage is perfect to hang some charms in so I added the toad mushroom.

Products used from the store:
Tim Holtz alterations, caged bird
Steampunk spells, graphic 45, 8x8 paper pad
Steampunk spells, graphic 45, 6x6 paper pad solids and patterns
Mushroom charm
Flat back crystals

Time and Spells

Good morning Steph here today with a fun card using Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells.

I know we just passed  Halloween, but I adore this Steampunk paper and couldn't resist creating this card.

I created a tri fold card from cardstock and added some pattern paper on the front flaps.  Then I die cut ovals from the reverse side of the pattern papers.  Most of these papers have solid backs so they coordinate well together.

The stamp is from the coordinating Graphic 45 stamp set  - Steampunk Spells set #1.  I stamped the clock 3 times in 3 different colors of ColorBox inks, then pieced the clock from the different colors.  The clock was fussy cut then added to the card front.

Maja design paper card

Hi everyone!!!

Pi here again.
If you've been visiting The Rubber Buggy lately, you know Kellie has stocked the store with beautiful Maja design papers - yippie!!!
These papers are beyond gorgeous:)

I layered the papers, tucked a snowy roof in between.
I really wanted a ribbon to go across the card, but I didn't have any in the midnight blue that works so well, so I stuck to a paper strip. I covered the snowflake in stickles and stuck a flat back crystal in the middle.

Products from the store:
Maja design, Vintage winter, 6x6 paper pad
Magnolia stamp, snowy roof
Copic markers (E-serie)
Magnolia stamp, a merry Christmas text
Ice stickles, crystal
MFT die-namic, let it snowflake

Hi everyone it's Kelly.  I have a card to share with you this week and it comes from the Saturated Canary stamp set called Harley & Haley but this time I decided to use just Haley.  This card is a card with a sweet little style and I just thought this little piggy was the perfect example of petite adorableness.  Here is the card:
Papers were from Melody Ross and Crate paper.
The stamp set is from The Rubber Buggy called Harley & Haley by Saturated Canary.
The flowers were Recollections
The SMILE title is from Bo Bunny key lime collection also from The Rubber Buggy.

I hope you all have a great day!

Thinking of You

Good morning Steph here today with another adorable Whimsy stamp called Autumn Happiness, which I colored with assorted Copic Markers.

The background papers are from Graphic 45's Steampunk Spells. I wrapped some Celery ribbon from May Arts around the card then used the new Wild Rose Circle Greetings stamps as the sentiment, holding it in place with a Memo Pin from Tim Holtz.

Thank you for visiting.

Hi everyone!

Pi here and  today I'm showing you how I gift wrap bottles:)
This is so much easier than you think, just arm yourself with your hot glue gun and off we go - LOL!

I took paper from the paper pad and layered it on cradstock, since 8 inches didn't reach completely around the entire bottle. The WOC flowers are coloured with Lindy stamp gang sprays (grab a guy gold, canna lilly burnt orange, cocoa bean copper and van dyke sepia). I tore two layers from a large rose to make it look more like a huge rose bud and I managed to make another bud from the two layers:)

Products used from the store:
Steampunk spells, Graphic 45 paper pad 8x8
Steampunk spells, solids and patterns, Graphic 45paper pad 6x6
Bakers twine, black
WOC wild roses 40mm
WOC tulips
WOC hip rosebuds
Ranger ice stickles
Magnolia chandilier garland, yellow
May art ribbons sheer box pleated trim
MFT fancy flourish
Tim Holtz mini butterflies
