Summer Wedding Tilda

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well.

It's Gina here sharing my inspirational card.

I am mad on Magnolia stamps, so have made a Double Dutch fold card using the beautiful Summer Wedding Tilda.

Tilda has been stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured with Copics and mounted onto a pretty Paper Doily. The Flowers are by Wild Orchid Crafts 25mm Pink and Two Tone Ivory and Pale Pink and a couple of White Tulips. The bow is made from beautiful Pink Sheer White Stitched Edge ribbon.

Copics List:
Skin: E21, 00, 000, E93
Hair: E44, 42, 40, W00
Dress and Boots: R85, 83, 81, RV10
Flowers: BV04, 02, 00, 000, TG99, 97, 95, 93

Celebrate Everyday Things

Hi everyone, Steph here today.

I love MemoryBox dies and this hot air balloon is a new addition to the Rubber Buggy's collection.  It's called Beautiful Balloon, I've opted to use it in several different ways today.

I first die cut the balloon out of the card and inked the edges of the die cut area with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I placed some Graphic 45 cardstock inside the card so that it would show through the opening.  I then die cut 2 additional balloons and inked them with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I wanted to keep the card simple, so I stamped a sentiment on white cardstock with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and just inked the edges before adding to the card front.

Thank you for visiting.

Prima seashore layout

Hi everyone!

Have you, like me, been drooling over the new Prima collection Seashore?
Well, Kellie has now stocked the store with Prima goodies and there is more to come =D

I've mainly used the 12x12 collection kit, it comes with 2 sheet of each doublesided design plus several sticker sheets and cut-aparts. All the stickers except the chipboard on the LO is from the collection kit. Since everything coordinates it's so easy and quick to put this together.

Be prepared for more to come - LOL!

Products used from the store:
12x12 Prima seashore collection kit
6x6 Prima seashore paper pad
12x12 Seashore chipboard
Prima seashore typewriter keys

Thinking of You

Hi everyone, Steph here today and I've been playing with the new Memory Box Stencils.  Have you seen them yet?  Here's what I've created with the new Butterfly  Vine Stencil.  Love this look.  I used spray mists over the stencil.

I wrapped May Arts ribbon around the card and mounted it on Bazzill Gummy Bear cardstock.  The sentiment is from Wild Rose Studios Circle Greetings and I've punched it out, matted it with a larger purple circle and affixed it to a Tim Holtz Memo Pin that was pushed into the ribbon.

Love how this turned out.  Don't you?

Thank you for visiting.

New Prima Seashore Collection Tags

Hi Everyone

I want to share with you a set of three tags I made using the new Seashore Collection from Prima Marketing which is now available in the store HERE. I had so much fun playing with a bunch of the new Mixed Media items like Embossing Paste, Stencils and Prima Color Bloom Sprays that I could not stop with just one.

I used the 12 x 12 Chipboard elements, Tags & Tickets, a little cardboard, cheesecloth and some little hinges that I had in my stash and then I used the new Color Bloom Sprays to mist over everything. The sprays will be showing up in the store hopefully by the end of the weekend, they were all damaged in shipping so I had to send them all back and wait for new ones to arrive (just after sampling a couple of them first).

Thank you for stopping by.

French Country garden

This is a project life layout I got done of my husband's garden.  I used the Graphic 45 French Country line and made these little 6x6 layouts for my album.  I really like how they all came out with a little embellishment here and there and it's easy to catch up on all my old photos.  You can find Graphic 45 in the Rubber Buggy store.  They have some of my favorite papers they are just amazing.  Thanks so much for looking ~Kelly

Siluette card 2

Hi everyone!

You might remember that I was trying to recreate a card that had a siluette instead of a coloured image last week.

I think I know what the trouble was with my last card HERE...
You don't see the siluette of someone in broad daylight :)

So here is one with a darker background!

Please, let me know what you think!

Products used from the store:
Wee stamp BIRD SWING
Wild rose clear stamp CIRCLE GREETINGS
Copic marker B100
distress watercolor cardstock
MTF die-namic SM LEAFY FLOURISH
stickles DIAMOND
stickles CRYSTAL
Colour spray Coming soon!! (I used LSG)

Hello everyone, its Gina here and I am so happy to be  part of this DT (thank you Kellie for inviting me) and to share my first inspirational post with you all.

I have made a little easel card using a Wee stamp by Whimsy and she is called Dandelion Girl. I have coloured her with Copics.

You can't see the papers very well, but I have used the following Maja papers:

The edges of the paper have been distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Tucked behind the image is a pretty Doily and some gorgeous Cotton Candy Bazzill card just in front of that. Here is a list of the beautiful Wild Orchid Craft flowers I have used:

The little green twirly bits are made from the stems of the flowers. I just adore this pretty crocheted lace and beautiful Sheer Ribbon.

Thank you for popping in and have a lovely weekend.

My Portfolio

Hi everyone, Steph here today with hands covered in inks.

I've been creating lots of tags lately and I needed some place to keep them safe.  So I created this portfolio with lots of Tim Holtz inks.  Nothing screams distressed like lots of inks and I've used Rusty Hinge, Marmalade, Vintage Photo, Tea Dye and Walnut Stain.

I created the portfolio with the help of my Scor-Pal and then used Scor-Tape to adhere the panels together.  Very fun and easy to create.

And a perfect place to hold my tags.

Siluette Tilda

Hi everyone!

Pi here.
I recently saw the most amazing cards being done with distress background and just the siluette image of flowers, trees and dragonflies. As you can see I was somewhat inspired :)

However, I don't have any good stamps for that kind of card. Most of mine are for colouring and detailing. But I figured what if I coloured it black...

What do you think of the result? Mine is nowhere close to the atmosphere I was going for, but with some stickles, it turned a lot better and I just think I need more practise - LOL!
Next time I will go for more darker distressing too, but as I have already put the stickles to this one I don't think it will work as good as if I had a smooth surface to work on...

Well, maybe next time :)
But please let me know what you think!

Products from the store:
Smooth paper
Magnolia rubber stamp DANCING QUEEN TILDA
Magnolia rubber stamp STONE PATH
Kaisercraft SHEET MUSIC
Copic marker B100
Distress ink TUMBLED GLASS
Distress ink BUNDLED SAGE
Distress ink PEELED PAINT
Stickles gold
Stickles mint

Flowering Doll Tag

Hi everyone, Steph here with a tag featuring the Prima Doll with Bolero.

I used assorted papers from the Prima paper pack, inking with brown ink before assembling.  I wanted to use some  May Arts ribbon but felt it was a little too light so I inked it with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then adhered the ribbon where the papers were joined.

I restamped the doll on Graphic 45's Secret Garden paper and fussy cut her dress and dressed her.  Then I placed her on the tag with foam adhesives for dimension.
