Happy Birthday

Hi everyone, Steph here again and I'm so excited to be working with this wonderful Magnolia Stamp Tilda with Daisies and she is so versatile.  While I created a birthday card with her today, just think of all the occasions you can use this stamp - Mother's Day, Thinking of You, Just Because - the possibilities are endless.

I stamped her on Copic X-Press It cardstock,  and colored her with these Copic Markers:
Copic Markers,
Copic Markers
Copic Markers.

I created a 5 1/2" square card and  die cut the image into a circle and added her to a larger scalloped circle which I placed on my card slightly off the left edge.

Thank you for visiting.

How do you wrap a hug

How do you wrap a hug?
That was what I thought straight when I saw Krafty Kate from the Saturated canary:)

As usual, coloured with my copics - I don't know how I managed without them before:) The banner is from MFT and I cut it apart to be able to bend it my way. I added some string from my stash and paper flowers as well. I used a spellbinders to create the frame of my image and the label for the sentiment. I edged them with Tim holtz distress ink Antique linen.

Do check out the store! Kellie keeps stocking the goodies by the minute:) She also carries Spellbinders now - hurray!

Thank you for visiting,

ZOE - Saturated Canary

Hey Everyone,
It's my day to post at The Rubber Buggy today and I'm excited to share that TRB offers Saturated Canary  Rubber stamps and Wild Orchid Crafts as well. For today's post I used the lovely Zoe and I had so much fan coloring her hair and her fabulous gown. I used my copic markers and for the background paper I used the Prima Nature Garden. I've been using this paper a lot lately and I'm loving it. For the embellishments I used some of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers & leaf, Recollections flowers and flat back pearls and Magnolia chandelier. I also used some of my tulles that I kept in my stash for ages, lol! I just want to stuff everything on the card to make it look busy and I make sure that the image will still pop up inspite of all the stuff that I added in this card and some die cuts. I actually sewn all the edges of this card and distress it with my distressing tool and colored it with distress ink. I hope you like this card that I created and see you back again :)

Call me

Here is my take on Saturated canary talkie!

She is adorable listening in her tin can phone - I haven't made one for ages:) I'm really pleased I colour it with my copics:) She is mounted on a background of Magnolia 6x6 pink paper from the princes & princesses collection. You can also find ribbon and paper flowers in the shop. I made the pink pearl spray myself and the crystal spray is Magnolia chandelier garland white.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Saturday!!!! Yay for the weekend!! :)

I have a bit of a different card for you today. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and get out I did! I'm sure you all have seen the "white on white" cards popping up all over blog land. I thought I'd give it a whirl. Mine is not nearly as elegant looking as some, but I'm fairly happy with my first attempt.

Is your eyes drawn to the bling garland? You can purchase it here. There are several colors available

It's always been YOU...

Hey Everyone,
Happy 's day everyone! I'm here to post a card for The Rubber Buggy. I used Cool Edwin by Magnolia stamps and colored the image with copic markers. I know you've seen me used this image a lot, just to show you how versatile this image is. I really like this image and so fun to color! I used kraft cardstock for the background and used some patterned paper as well. I added a heart shaped bazzill cardstock using my cricut machine. I used my Tim Holtz top note die and also added fish tail banner and to finish it off added a sweet sentiment that I stamped on the heart. I hope you like this card that I made for today's post.

My Valentine

For this week I actually had another card ready - I'm in to saturated canary at the moment. But I also remembered that I had just the perfect Magnolia stamps for Valentine. So I made another one:)

You can never have too much fun playing with these cuties!

Here is Dancing queen Tilda, Edwin wants a hug and Christmas Tilda with cat in a trio. I paper pieced their clothes to match and I used stickers from Makin' memories. The background is Magnolia Love background stamped in Victorian velvet distress ink. On the top and the bottom of the card I layered pearl trim on organza ribbon. I added a cluster of paper flowers in the corner and I made the pearl sprays myself.

I hope you enjoyed my card, thank you for visiting!!

Bon Voyage

Hey Everyone,
It's Thursday once again and I made a card for The Rubber Buggy. I used Cool Edwin by Magnolia stamps. I colored the image with copics and fussy cut it. I used a designer paper and on the front I created my own background using some embossing powder, tool and some stamps. Then I added a sentiment that I just wrote myself and added brads on all of the edges. I hope you like this card that I created for this week.

Life is Better with Friends

Hi everyone, Steph here again with this lovely Bild Malarma image.

Isn't she the cutest!!  I colored her with an assortment of Copic Markers after first stamping her on Copic Xpress It Blending Cardstock  which is the perfect paper when using Copic Markers.

As I wanted her to be the focal point, I fussy cut her and mounted her on black cardstock before adhering her to the card.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Be my Valentine

Hi!
Pi here for another terrific Tuesday - LOL!

I made a little different card this week and have not used a stamp.
But it so easy to put beautiful things together with paper from Graphic 45. Here I made a 4.5 x 4.5 card for Valentine using the Place in Time cut-apart paper of Feburary. Apart from a flatback pearl, 4 paper flowers, some Recollection bling and 4 stickers from the Place in Time sticker sheet, all the embellishment is from the paper line.

The base of the card is Neenah Environment smooth desert storm - is this the same as kraft paper? I then matted cream card stock on top of black card stock - and then... Then the fun begins:)

I matted the cut picture from the paper with pearl shimmer paper, the rest is just cut-aparts from the paper - both the tag and the stamps. I glued a pink flat back pearl to the tag and coloured some I am roses rose buds and a R2-15 rose with Rudolf red nose red from Lindy's stamp gang.

Again both the stamp and border is from the cut-apart sheet from Graphic 45. Some Recollection bling from a roll, but it would be just as fine without it!

Even the inside is from the collection. The striped paper, stamp, the tag and the border that's not shown is from the cut-apart sheet. From the sticker sheet is the "14", "be my Valentine" and the little heart after "BE MINE". Again, if you do not have the sticker sheet there are plenty more to choose from on the cut apart papper.

Isn't it amazing what you can do with paper - LOL!

Don't forget to play @therubberbuggychallenge - just use your top 3 favourites:)
And do check out the store!! Kellie has filled the store with both more paper flowers, ribbon and new stamps:)

Thank you for visiting!!
Hugs!!

I colored her in using Copic markers and used a few flowers and flat back pearls to decorate. I also used a lace to make it look more vintage. Hope you like it!
