Mixed Media Card with Art Alchemy
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store. Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.
Have you tried Prima Marketing collection of Art Alchemy paints? Sparks are metallic acrylic paints with a beautiful shimmer. They are rich in color with a sparkly effect.
I've used the following colors to create the background for my card.
Mermaid Sparkle Butterfly spells,
Fairy Wings,
Dragons Eye,
Magical Pond
Using Strathmore Watercolor Tablet, I painted these colors sporadically across the paper.
Once I had the colors in place, I spritzed the paper with water to allow the colors to flow, then used a paper towel to dry the paper.
Cutting the panel to fit a card, I used Scor-Pal, to score 4 lines 1/4" apart starting at the bottom of the panel.
I used the Magnolia New Year's stamp, coloring her with Copic Markers. She was die cut and added to the card atop a larger oval. Cheers is from Lawn Fawn's Winter Sentiments.
