Die Cut Christmas Card

Hi .. How are you today. This DT project for The Rubber Buggy showcases a Christmas card made using some die cuts along with  Beacon 3- in -1 Glue. The Sentiment is Glossy Accented to make it simmer and the gold accents and washi tape are from Paper House.

Supply List:
Ink: Tim Holtz Vintage Photo
Accents: Glossy Accents
Machine/ tools: Big Shot Express,
Other: Cardstock, Paper House

\
To start I found this fun print and the negative die cuts. I then cut the black cardstock to mat it.

Glue the print to the background.

Used just a plain white cardstock Sentiment so it would pop off the already busy card.

Here is the close up view of the sentiment after the Glossy Accents was applied.

In the close ups you can view the details of the fabulous designs in the die cuts.

I love this amazing paper print and the black background made it all pop. It is so elegant and also love that it is a non conventional christmas paper.

This was a busy card but after taking a good luck I thought the fun shiny gold accents would be a perfect fit to this card.

Family Time using Lemon Craft Collection

Hi.... Bev here today. I hope you had a great weekend I know I did. Today at the Rubber Buggy I am sharing  this page with a photo of our family celebration. We all had a great time visiting, eating and catching up on all the goings on in everyone's lives.
For this page I added the bead border for glitter and shine along with glossy accent title and stickles on the flowers and leaves along with some fun ink stamping on background and edges.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products
Paper: Lemoncraft Basic Paper collection
Glue: Beacon 3-in-1 Glue
Mediums: glossy accents, stickles
Ink: Tim Holtz mini distress ink
Flowers: Petaloo
Sketch: Sketches in Thyme
Other: Chipboards, Stamp, Flair button, lace, beads

I always start by pulling lots of possible layers and accents along with my photo.
For this one I was then cutting pieces and layers to follow the sketch. I inked the edges.

Here is my proposed layout ... so after removing things I stamped the background.

Some chipboards are inked.

I added some layers together and then added the lace border.

Things are coming together.

When things were together I added floral clusters and bead border.

I then went back and added the stickles for glitter to the flowers and the leaves.

Glossy accents added to title made it shine too.

and for an added bonus today .....here is another page using Lemon Craft with an added background piece from Blue Fern Studios

Up and Away

Hi it's Jennifer here and today I created a Shaker Card
using this Beautiful Stamp and Sentiment
The dies I have used to create the frame are
Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables to add a nice feature
where as last fortnight I layered them.

I have used Distress Ink Pads Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries
and Peacock Feathers for the Background.
I have used Glossy Accents over the balloons to give dimension.
I have popped in the shaker matching Sequins to my inks.
I have then layered it on aqua Bazzill and then on to a white
card base.

All these products and more are avaliable at the
The Rubber Buggy Shop and don't forget to visit us on Facebook
look for the Videos down the side too, Instragram and the
Rubber Buggy Design Team Blog where there's a post nearly
everyday from one of the team.

Happy Crafting

A Laugh is a Smile that Burst using Blue Fern Studio Tranquility & More

HI... Bev here today at The Rubber Buggy. What a fun page with a photo of my youngest Grand Daughter. The colours, trims and accents were perfect with this too cute photo. I am using Blue Fern Studio Tranquility collection and some Creative Embellishments chipboards.

Supply List:
Rubber Buggy Products:
Creative Embellishments Products
Chipboards: A laugh is a smile that bursts, Berry Wreath circular frame, Lupine, Monarch Butter fly
Button: Fly Away Flair
Other: washi tape, black  pen,  Modeling Paste

To start the background I am using 2 pattern papers ripping one in half and glued them to gether.

Using a 2nd sheet of paper the same print I fussy cut the bird and cage, inked it and foam popped it up.

You can see that inking the edges give depth and dimension to the cage and bird. In the upper section I fussy cut some foliage from the 2nd print paper to add to the upper left corner above the bird.

Using some pieces from some floral chipboard I added it to the 2 sections on the page.

This title is so fitting for the photo of my youngest Grand Daughter. When she was happy she would smile and break into the most infection laugh for a small toddler. She would make us all smile with happiness when she did this. I inked this part of the title and when dry I added glossy accents for a shine.

In these 2 photo shots I am sharing where I used Modeling paste and stencil to add texture to the page.

The photo above shows placement of the proposed photo with chipboard frame and the title.

I cut the photo to fit the frame, clustered with flowers and leaves, added the inked and stickles butterfly and add the flair butterfly accent.

I added some Nuvo Glimmer paste to the chipboard.

Glossy accented title.

Flair button, cluster of flowers and on chipboards more Nuvo Glitter paste.

On this central section of the page showcasing my sweet Grand Daughter I put just a dab of blue ink and sparkled it up with more Nuvo Glitter paste... but not solid.. just spiratic placement. It's she just too cute.
