Christmas Cards Using Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas by Simple Stories

Susan, here and let’s make a couple of Christmas cards this week, using the leftovers from the Simple Vintage Rustic Collection that we used last week to create the mini mini album. I really love to take a collection pack and see how many projects I can make with it. So I knew these scraps would be perfect for cards. I still have lots of paper left from this one pack.

Both cards are very simple but I love how they turned out. For the first card I layered one of the 3x4 elements from the paper collection on top of a leftover strip from the mini album, the strip measures 2 3/4 x 4. All of this is layered on top of the green plaid which is from the back of the 4x6 element sheet   https://www.therubberbuggy.com/simple-stories-simple-vintage-rustic-christmas-12x12-4x6-elements/. I also used a poinsettia and holly greenery piece from the Simple Vintage Rustic Christmas Woodland and Bits package to decorate the edge of the card.

For the second card I created 3 mini stamps by cutting some of the smaller leftover pieces to 1 3/4 x 1 1/4. I then used my decorative edge scissors to cut the edges to look more like stamps. I added a paper bow using the Wrapped with Care sheet

All of this is layered on top of a background piece from the Here Comes Santa Claus sheet https://www.therubberbuggy.com/simple-stories-simple-vintage-rustic-christmas-12x12-here-comes-santa-claus/.

I hope you all are having a crafty Christmas! I would love to see your projects if you decide to give it a try.
