Meet the Design Team
6:03 AM
Today we are introducing Step Ackerman. Steph comes to us from East Meadow, NY.
Here is a bit about Steph:
Steph is an avid scrapbooker, cardmaker and altered artist and she loves working with all kinds of mediums. Steph lives in New York with her husband Gary, their 17 year old son Christopher, and Paulie, their rescue puppy. Being a teenager, it can be quite difficult getting candid shots of Christopher; however, since he participates in many sports, Steph tends to take lots of action photos and scrap those. Paulie, on the other hand, is quite the character and allows Steph to take as many photos as she wants without complaint and he can be seen in many scrapbook layouts!
Cardmaking, for Steph, is therapy. She loves working on a smaller canvas and watching her work come to life with the use of stamps, inks and die cuts. Steph adores stamps and has a huge selection she loves to play with. She loves challenges, is constantly trying new techniques as well as trying new ways to use the products she has. It’s the little details that make a project come to life.
Steph recently discovered that she loves to teach and can often be found in her studio with any number of students, showing them how to create beautiful projects using all kinds of products, whether it be utilizing the Cricut, stamps, chalk and dye inks, binding equipment, etc., Steph loves seeing the look on their faces when they realize what can be done with the tools and supplies that are available to us.
Steph is totally thrilled to be a part of the Rubber Buggy Design Team.

Here is a little bit about Jas.
First of all, I just want to thank The Rubber Buggy for choosing me as one of the DT member. I’m delighted and very excited to be a part of this team. My name is Jasmin Pilapil, I’m a mom and have two beautiful children who inspires me every day. I'm always thankful for having them in my life. I’m an avid crafter ever since I was little and discovered card making/ scrapbooking two years ago and fell in love with it. I love to create different kind of things, vintage/grungy, shabby chic and cute style. Pretty much a little bit of everything. I put love and dedication in every piece that I make and that's what makes it so special. I hope you enjoy your visit and happy crafting! Hugs,Jas

Here is a card I made awhile back.
Stamps: Edwin's Oldsmobile from Magnolia Rubber Stamp and you can purchase it HERE from The Rubber Buggy.
Embellishments: Flower from Magnolia Rubber Stamp and you can purchase these from The Rubber Buggy HERE. The ribbon and leaves behind the flowers are from my stash.
Papers: From my very large stash of supplies.
I used Copic Markers to color the image. This was my first crack at a rusty object. This image would also be very cute with the Barbwire Fence positioned behind it HERE. I might just have to make another to try it out.
Thank you for visiting.
