Celebrate with Graphic45

Hi  everyone, Steph Ackerman here on this very cold and snowy Thursday

My card today can be used for just about anything  from birthday to anniversary to any kind of celebration.

I wanted to use  Natalie, a Julie Nutting Stamp from Prima, so I created a legal sized card from Bazzill cardstock.  Then I used papers from the Time to Celebrate Graphic 45 pattern pad, mixing colors and papers.

Natalie was colored with Copic Markers and then fussy cut.  I added her to the card with Scrapbook Adhesives for dimension.

I absolutely adore these stamps!

Distressed background card

Hi everyone!

Pi here, I have had a card in mind for some time now as my DT-project, but never gotten around to actually pull out my distress inks. I must get the new colors, I truly still am in love with them.

However, lately I have seen a few cards using the technique I had in mind and they are absolutely stunning. Mine is nowhere near as beautiful, so I'm glad I waited. Otherwise I would probably have abandon the idea.

I used two colors of distress ink. I had three in mind, but I just loved the evergreen bough and tumbled glass so well together, I just stuck with those. I aslo used watercolor cardstock, as I planned to spray the paper with shimmer mist. In the end it would probably have worked fine with regular cardstock as well, as I didn't need that much mist as I thought.

I embossed the sentiment with white superfine detail and I'm amazed with how crisp the small words came out.

Products used from The Rubber Buggy store:
Wplus9 design studio Handlettered thanks
Distress ink Evergreen bough
Distress ink Tumbled glass
Ranger embossing powder white superfine
Stitched rectangle die
Craft medley cup sequins go green
Blue Fern Studios mist winter mint
Stamping supplies (Neenah cardstock white and black, watercolor paper, acrylic block, scor tape)

Joy Card with Graphic 45

Good morning everyone, Steph Ackerman here today.  I know the joy of having a child, but the tempter tantrums can be mind blowing!  A friend had her first grandchild, so this is a reminder of what's to come!

I created the base of this card with Graphic 45 pattern papers - Time to Celebrate 6" x 6" paper pad.  The colors were perfect for a boy card!

Toby is Two is the stamp from Mo Manning.  I colored him with assorted Copic Markers and then fussy cut him before adding him to a Spellbinders circle.

Ahh, the joy of having a baby!

Thank you for visiting.
