Simple Stories - You are Here Collection

hi... it's Bev here again. OMG Simple Stories You are Here is so much fun to create with. It is a great collection for vacation, holiday and beach photos. It is easy to assemble pages full of memories. I used the sketch below for this page... it's a Creative Inspiration DT reveal sketch.

Supply List:
The Rubber Buggy Products
Paper: Simple Stories You are Here Collection
Dies: Heartfelt Creations Delightful Daisy flowers
Tool: Heartfelt Creations Flowers Shaping Kit
Other: Just Imagine Kreaxions Circle Cutter, black pen, star brads, cardstock
Sketch: Creative Inspirations Bev Code

To start this page I decided to split some of the amazing prints on the background.

I then cut a circular ring to base my photos on.

I die cut lots of flowers out of the papers in the collection so they would match and made the Heartfelt Creations Flowers using the shaping kit.

When working with collections they are fabulous because there are  lots of words, shapes and image accents to choose from.

I added mats to the photos and more accents.

Metal brads, flowers, more accents and some pen inking was added for depth and texturing.

Be sure to visit the STORE to more these and more wonderful products. Thanks for visiting today and see you again soon.

It's A Beautiful Life

One of our teenage grand daughters is having a birthday next week and will be going to the prom.  Hard to believe our little ones are growing up so fast.

I made her card using the gorgeous Heartfelt Creations collections of dies and stamps and Heartfelt Creations paper all from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.  If you want wonderful customer service and fast delivery, you will want to order all of your supplies from The Rubber Buggy on-line store.  The card measures 6 1/4" x 7".

The Rubber Buggy Supplies:
Heartfelt Creations Blushing Rose Paper
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Die
Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose Stamp Set
Heartfelt Creations Blushing Rose Swirl Die Set
Heartfelt Creations All Dressed Up Stamp Set
Heartfelt Creations All Dressed Up Die Set
Heartfelt Creations Botanic Orchid Wishes Stamp Set
NUVO Embellishment Mousse - Lilac Lavender
NUVO Crystal Drops - Ivory Seashell
US ArtQuest Minnie Pearl Prills
Ranger Distress Ink - Dusty Concord
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
Ranger Super Fine Gold Embossing Powder

Other Supplies:
Colored Pencils
Spray Adhesive

I stamped the roses and sponged the edges of each petal with the Ranger Distress Dusty Concord and shaped the flowers before gluing the petals. I used glued in the center of the one rose and added some prills for the stamen.  I colored the leaves and rose bulbs with colored pencils.

The dress was embossed with gold embossing powder

This is the inside of the card.  I just love this Heartfelt Creations Orchid Wishes sentiment stamp for my birthday cards.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Ink.    I normally use Copic markers but wanted the details on the orchids and birds to show more so I colored the orchid, leaves and birds with colored pencils.

Hope to inspire you to make a card similar or just get out your wonderful supplies for The Rubber Buggy to start crafting this spring.

Easter Lillies Window Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with another amazing Tutti Designs Die.  This is a such a pretty die to use for Easter projects.

Tutti Designs Dies are amazing and I wanted to take advantage of the intricate Easter Lillies Window Die.

I began by die cutting white cardstock.  Because the die quite intricate, I used the Spellbinders Tool 'n One to release the die.  This tool removes all the little pieces effortlessly.

Then I selected assorted Prima Acrylic Paints - Metallic Gold Rush, Turquoise and Rose-Gold and painted the die.

To make this die the focal point, I created a simple card using Bazzill cardstock strips - Banana Split, Marshmallow and Cotton Candy.

Don't you love how this card shines?

Harriet The Turtle

Hi Everyone it's Jennifer here with my weekly post. I have looked at
this really cute Magnolia Stamp - Harriet The Turtle that has been
waiting patiently to be inked up. So the time was right. I coloured her
in Copics
YG91, YG95, BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99, E43, E44
I have used the LF Large Stitched Rectangles to creat the the white front
and LF Circle Frame for the circle window for the shaker.
The leaves I really love are Magnolia Doohicky - Jungle Leaves
The background and leaves I have used Tim Holtz Oxide Inks.
The colours are Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint and Walnut Stain.
I used a mix of Sequins to match.

All these products and more are avaliable at the
The Rubber Buggy Shop and don't forget to visit us on Facebook
