Sending you hugs
9:00 PM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today using some lovely Magnolia papers to create a paper wallet.
The wallet was created from Bazzill cardstock cut to 6" x 9 3/4".
A card panel was cut to fit inside the wallet using the same papers and a sentiment from Prima was stamped on top.
Mother's Day is coming - how about creating this for her!
Thank you for visiting.

The wallet was created from Bazzill cardstock cut to 6" x 9 3/4".
Using my Scor-Pal, I scored the cardstock, then folded to create the base. Scor-Tape was used to hold adhere the accordion folded sides to the wallet.
I punched a slot in the front into which I slipped the binding and Velcro was used to adhere it to the wallet.
A card panel was cut to fit inside the wallet using the same papers and a sentiment from Prima was stamped on top.

Another Design Team Member Introduction.
2:11 PM
Lets meet Bev Code. She has been super busy with getting post ready for The Rubber Buggy Blog. She received her package and must have went directly to work with the products. You have to love that about her, she is really on top of it.
Here is a little bit about Bev:
I was new to online scrapping since Apr 2009. There were so many amazing sites that were my learning curve to this amazing world of scrapbooking.
My name is Bev Code and I have been scrapping about 5+ years. I am a wife, mother and gramma that loves being retired and now have time to scrap to my heart's content. I love scrapbooking along with fun things it entails with online friends, forums and FB. The learning process has been interesting and creative also. Other crafts I love also are needlepoint, sewing, knitting, crochet and taking lots of photos. Family and friends are the subjects of my scrapping along with nature, ancestry and vacation sites. I live in Conestogo, Ontario and spend some time in Florida where I take my scrapping with me for the extended time.
Thank you Bev for joining our team. Looking forward to your amazing projects.

New Design Team Member
1:50 PM
Hi Everyone,
It is a hard task to pick from so many wonderful applications for our Design Team Positions but I had to do it. We have picked 3 new members and will be introducing them over the next couple of days.
Lets meet Noe today she comes to us all the way from the North of Spain. We are super excited to see what all she has in store for us.
"My name is Noelia but I prefer being called Noe.
I'm 32 years old and I live in the north of Spain with my two children and my husband.
I studied Law and Criminology but my passion has always been crafts.
I began to practice scrapbooking when my first son was born 4 years ago, and since I couldn't stop.
I have known fantastic people, it's the best of this art.
I love to create layouts with my favorite photos and make cards for specials occasions!! That makes the difference!!
And I love creating mixed media projects: I enjoy playing with inks, stencils, gesso ... hands dirty can be fun!!!
In July 2014 I opened my blog "El Scrap de Cris y Noe" with one of my best friend and here I am!!
I also give scrapbooking workshops in a shop of my town... We had fun and we learn from each other!!
I hope to give the best of me, to be able to show you projects that you like very much and learn many things from my team mates!".
Thank you Noe we are super excited to have you.

Mother Goose layout
1:25 AM
Hi everyone!
Pi here.
This week I'm showing a LO.
I'm really pleased with the result and I like the fact that I've used G45 papers, but changed their vintage look, since there is a white background.
The layout is about the books we read together, or rather the books about pets and farm animals, which I moo and oink my way through - LOL! Loving life as a mother I must say.
I've used project life card for the journaling (Jade kit, Becky Higgins) and rather used the coordinating stamps as accents and embellishment. There are also some elements from Simple stories 24/7 collection. I've rearranged my stash to color coordinating rather then by collection and I think I'm doing better.
Products used from the store:
12x12 paper Graphic 45 Mother Goose, Humpty Dumpty
12x12 paper Graphic 45 Mother Goose, Story time
12x12 paper Graphic 45 Mother Goose, Playful postage
12x12 Bazzill cardstock Marsmallow
12x12 Bazzill cardstock Peppermint
May arts Grossgrain ribbon w satin edge white
Bakers twine, yellow
Graphic 45 Clingstamp, Mother Goose set#3
Lawn Fawn fundamental ink, Black licorice
Stamping supplies (doublesided tape, scissors,)
Thank you for visiting!

Combining G45 and Pion design
1:00 AM
Hi everyone!
Pi here
I made a birthday card, in the down right corner it says "happy birthday" in Swedish.
The card is made with paper and cut aparts from both G45 place in time and an older collection from Pion design. If you are familiar with these brands and I'm sure you are, you know that G45 is a warmer vintage tone and Pion design leans more towards a grey tone and in this collection, a cool gray. My point being, these two collections did not match, but I altered the pieces using Vintage photo distress ink, which is a warm brown.
The April elements from Graphic 45, look really distressed. But all I did was stamping them with my crackle clearstamp from Kaisercraft and I love the instant depth they get without being bulky.
Products used on the card:
Graphic 45 Place in time cut apart April (in store now is Time to flourish)
Pion design 6x6 paper in a 12x12 sheet (lots of collections in store now)
Kaisercraft clearstamp Crackle
Distress ink Vintage photo
Stamping supplies (scissors, doublesided tape, distress applicator)
Thank you for visiting!

Kaisercraft birthday card/tag
1:00 AM
Hi everyone!
Pi here with a quick card that is meant to work as a project life card.
The card is made with scraps from older Prima collections I collected from The Rubber Buggy. The black background is Almanac, the pink is prima divine (I think it was called) and the teal banner is from Seashore. Note how well they go together though :)
The size is 4x6, as the reciever of the gift has just begun to explore pocketed scrapbooking. She just turned 12 and this is for her birthday. Thus, the gift tag is a project life card to use!
In the circle I used a Kaisercraft clear stamp.
Products used from the store:
Kaisercraft clearstamp BIRTHDAY
Lawn Fawn ink MERMAID
Circle die
Stamping supplies (acrylic block, scissors, doublesided tape)
Thank you for visiting!

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a lovely tulip die. Created by Memory Box, this Tulip Bouquet is gorgeous.
I die cut the Tulip 3 times - once from white cardstock, once from pink cardstock and once from green cardstock. Then I reassembled the tulip on a large red oval die cut.
The card was created from brown cardstock with a layer from Graphic 45's Home Sweet Home collection.
The tag was fussy cut from Graphic 45's Home Sweet Home collection and inserted under the tulip bouquet.
