Floral Purses

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Who wouldn't love these cute little purses?  They are perfect for holding gift cards and giving as a birthday gift, an anniversary gift or perhaps even slip a check inside and give as a wedding gift.

Because paper purses can be flimsy, I've used Sizzix Mat Board to make the purses more substantial.  I covered the mat board completely with Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive then placed a sheet from LemonCraft House of Roses on top.  Use a Ranger Inky Roller Brayer to seal the paper to the mat board.  Allow it to dry for about a half hour before die cutting.

Any Sizzix Bigz dies will cut through mat board.  I used a Sizzix purse die which die cut and scored the mat board in one pass.

Fold on the score lines and form to create the purse.  Add Scor-Tape along the side panels.

Ink all edges with Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink using an Ink Blending Tool.

Punch holes in the tops and insert Baker's Twine creating handles.  Use a Velcro dot as the closure.

To one of the purses, I added torn scraps of papers.  Add jewels around the closing tabs.  Glue flowers to finish each purse.

Thank you for visiting
