Graphic 45 crossover

Hi everyone!

Pi here and I have finally managed to make a LO of my newborn precious baby boy.

Kellie has brought in the latest of Graphic 45 and I am waiting for my DT-package to arrive with Graphic 45's Deluxe Collectors Edition Baby 2 Bride. But until then I made this layout with a cross over of several collectins from Graphic 45. I'm hoping to show you how easy it is to mix and match them.

The collections I've mixed are from Once upon a time, Little darlings and Birdsong. The LO is inspired from the sketch challenge at my local scrapbook store. The titel reads "finally!" in Swedish and I've used a lot of metal filigree and prima pearls from my stash.

Products used from the store:
Graphic 45 staples ornate metal keyholes
Vintage photo distress ink
Bazzil cardstock (matting)
Shimmer sprays (blue and brown droplets on the LO)
Stamping supplies (scissors for fuzzy cutting, tape, glue)

I hope I've inspired you to look at your Graphic 45 collections differently.
Thank you for visiting!

A Little Bit Country

Hi Everyone.  I am here on this fabulous Friday with my post for The Rubber Buggy, to show you some more inspiration using some wonderful stamps and products from the Store. Today I used a stamp from Sarah Kay called " A Little Bit Country  ".

My card is 4 1//4 x 5 1/2 .   I stamped my image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto some Cryogen CS.  I then colored my image in using copics.   I used a Dutch Doily Rectangle Frame die from Cheery Lynn to create my frame for my colored image. I did not add anything else as I wanted the colored image to be spotlighted.

See you all back next Friday with some more inspiration.  The challenge blog will soon be up and running, so keep checking back to see what awesome challenges we have in store for you all.....

Happy Stamping!!!!!

Baby tags

Hi everyone,

Pi here again with a promised (quick) project - LOL!

Mid-september I became a mother to a precious baby boy and since then time has just flown away.
So be on the look out for baby layouts, project life - baby's first year and more baby projects :D

However, today I'd like to show you a 5-minute project, which was litterly all the time I got for this.
Besides baby annuncements, I've taken a few (hundreds) photos of my new treasure and I'm giving a few of them away to close family. But being me and not having created anything for a period of time I took this opportunity to at least make a couple of tags.

Being a bit ambitious, I soon discovered that someone demanding attention was not planning to give me as much time as needed - even though I thought I was planning it tight :D
Needless to say, my tags became a bit more simple than firstly planned, but in the end I'm very pleased with the result anyway. The paper from G45 makes the tags look anything but boring and the die cut wording makes them pop a bit. I didn't even have time to die cut the reinforcer for the tag. As G45 paper is double sided it would have been super easy to match, just turn the paper over. I was also planning to put some flatback bling on the tags...

I'm mainly bummed about forgetting the twine to string the twine with though... But a glue dot will have to do now.

Products used from the store:
G45 12x12 French country PROVENCE
Magnolia Doohickey cutting dies tag (similar)
Memory box die BABY SCRIPT (similar)
Blue chalk (coming soon)

Items that didn't make it...
Flat back crystals
Crochet lace, light blue
MFT die-namics fancy flourish
WOC 10mm open roses
WOC hip rosebuds

Thank you for visiting!
Hopefully I'll make it in time for my next post - but I feel it would be wise not to make any promises for now =D

Fall Dinosaur

Hi everyone, Steph here today and it's gotten chilly the last few days.  Fall is definitely in the air.  There is nothing better than spending days creating fun projects.

I've used Graphic 45's French Country papers on my card.

This cute dinosaur is  Autumn Happiness by Whimsey Stamps.  He (she) was stamped and then colored with Copic Markers.  I fussy cut along the bottom to allow the die to cut him out completely, then inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink before adding him to the card.

Some random stickers spelled fall.

Time flies

O'boy!

Pi here with a confession.
I became a mother midseptember - two and a half week earlier than expected.
Since then my life has changed in ways I did not know was possible and I'm loving every minute of it!

My son is the sun my universe evolves around now a days and I'm lucky to have been blessed with the most precious baby boy who never crys and litterly just needs to be fed and changed before he goes back to sleep again.

Needless to say, I'm as happy as I'll ever be :D
However, even though I already have hundreds of photos and several baby annoncement cards to send, I have not yet managed to sit down and actually made any.
So my appologies for my missing Tuesday-post! There will be a post from me later this week instead, so please have patient with me.

In the meantime, may I be so bold and suggest that you check out the shop instead. Kellie has brought in many new products to play with and you can even start to plan your Christmas cards and December Daily overview etc - I know I am!

Thank you for visiting and being so understanding!

Red, White and Blue Betty

Hi everyone, Steph here today.

As we remember that fateful day 13 years ago, let us never forget those who sacrificed the most.

Today I'm using Prima's stamp - Betty as a focal point of this card.  I have added her to background papers from  Bo Bunny's Anthem line, a rich collection of red, white and blue in a wide variety of styles.

Never forget!

A friend in need.......

Hi everyone, Steph here today and I'm using a variety of products for today's card.

This Wild Rose Studio stamp is Tilly with Flowers and I love her.  She is perfect for all kinds of cards you can think of from anniversary to birthday to just because.

I lightly colored her with Distress Markers in Antique Linen, Mustard Seed and Pumice.  She was then die cut and inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

The papers are from Bo Bunny and I just fussy cut the top layer, matting it with cardstock to add some dimension.
