My Portfolio

Hi everyone, Steph here today with hands covered in inks.

I've been creating lots of tags lately and I needed some place to keep them safe.  So I created this portfolio with lots of Tim Holtz inks.  Nothing screams distressed like lots of inks and I've used Rusty Hinge, Marmalade, Vintage Photo, Tea Dye and Walnut Stain.

I created the portfolio with the help of my Scor-Pal and then used Scor-Tape to adhere the panels together.  Very fun and easy to create.

And a perfect place to hold my tags.

Siluette Tilda

Hi everyone!

Pi here.
I recently saw the most amazing cards being done with distress background and just the siluette image of flowers, trees and dragonflies. As you can see I was somewhat inspired :)

However, I don't have any good stamps for that kind of card. Most of mine are for colouring and detailing. But I figured what if I coloured it black...

What do you think of the result? Mine is nowhere close to the atmosphere I was going for, but with some stickles, it turned a lot better and I just think I need more practise - LOL!
Next time I will go for more darker distressing too, but as I have already put the stickles to this one I don't think it will work as good as if I had a smooth surface to work on...

Well, maybe next time :)
But please let me know what you think!

Flowering Doll Tag

Hi everyone, Steph here with a tag featuring the Prima Doll with Bolero.

I used assorted papers from the Prima paper pack, inking with brown ink before assembling.  I wanted to use some  May Arts ribbon but felt it was a little too light so I inked it with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then adhered the ribbon where the papers were joined.

I restamped the doll on Graphic 45's Secret Garden paper and fussy cut her dress and dressed her.  Then I placed her on the tag with foam adhesives for dimension.
