Window Cards with Art Impressions

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

I love window cards, don't you?  They can be used in a number of different ways.

Using the stamps included in the Art Impressions Window Deco Die, I stamped the curtains and valance with Lawn Fawn Soot Dye Ink on Bazzill Marshmallow Cardstock and another set on Mintay papers then die cut them.  I also die cut the shutters from Marshmallow cardstock, then inked with Ranger Distress Tea Dye Ink using a Ranger Ink Blending Tool.

I cut a piece of Maja Design - Summer Crush Flirty pattern paper to fit my card, then using the Art Impressions Window Die, I cut through both layers.

I used the white curtains and valance, placing them on the card around the window with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Adhesives for dimension.

Using Lawn Fawn Soot Ink, I inked a Penny Black stamp and stamped the phrase directly on the card front.

My 2nd card uses the shutters which had been die cut from a square of Marshmallow cardstock.  It was then matted on a scrap of Flirty pattern paper so it peeks out of the shutters.  It was then matted on Bazzill Lollipop Cardstock.  Another Penny Black stamp was stamped directly on the card.

Anniversary Cards with Tutti Designs

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

I had small amounts of Prima Marketing Art Alchemy paints in Flame and Gold remaining so I decided to create some backgrounds by painting the left over paints on Strathmore Watercolor Paper.  It doesn't look very pretty, but the resulting card definitely is!

I created the card using Maja Designs Vintage Summer Basics 1910 with the Tutti Designs Bird Tapestry die.  For definition, I cut the painted panel to fit behind the die.

I added brads to the flowers, then inked the edges of the panel with Lawn Fawn Sunflower Ink and then matted it with Bazzill Gold Coins Cardstock.

The panel was then added to Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics 1912 and Bazzill Gold Coins Cardstock.  It was then added to a pink card with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.

Nuvo Crystal Drops in Party Pink were added to the corner designs.  The phrase, from Art Impressions Watercolor Cling stamps, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a scrap of Vintage Summer Basics 1912 and pink cardstock.

My 2nd card was created using Maja Designs Vintage Summer Basics 1933 and the same Tutti Designs die.  A totally different effect was created.

I adhered Bazzill Marshmallow Cardstock behind the die cut panel giving emphasis to the die cut areas.  The die cut panel was matted with pink cardstock.

Vintage Summer Basics 1910 was added to a pink card and the phrase, from Art Impressions Watercolor Cling stamps was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Bazzil Marshmallow Cardstock.

I used a Tutti Designs Oval Die to die cut the phrase and a larger mat. It was added to the card with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.   Raspberry Liquid Pearls were added to the corners of the card.

Dress My Craft Cards

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Dress My Craft is a new craft line from India.  Their paper collections are beautiful and the papers are heavy weight.  I'm using papers from the Whispering Love collection.

Create two 6" x 6" cards from Bazzill Licorice Twist cardstock, using Scor-Pal Scoring Board to create the top fold.  Use the pink dotted paper for the base of each card. Wrap ribbon around one of the dotted panels before adhering it to the card.

Using a floral layer, cut the paper into four 6" panels, then select two panels and tear to fit the cards.  Tear strips of black cardstock and adhere to the floral layers.  Then adhere the layers to each card.

Stamp phrases from the Art Impressions stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  Punch out one phrase and mat other phrases with black cardstock.   Add each to the cards with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.

3D Floral Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Cut Bazzill Wax Lips cardstock 6" x 12", then use Scor-Pal to score at 3" and 6".

Fold on the 3" score, folding inwards to create a stand up card.

Using 2 sheets of pattern paper from the Love Letters paper pack from the Mintay pattern paper collection, I adhered one to the scored section to create the base layer.  Next, I fussy cut the flowers from the second sheet as I wanted to create a 3D effect with the flowers.  Use Heartfelt Creations Flower Shaping Essentials to form the flowers.

Lightly ink the flowers with Tea Dye Distress Ink using an Ink Blending Tool.

Place the fussy cut flowers on the base layer with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.  For more dimension, I doubled the squares.

Die cut the 2 sets of circles using Lawn Fawn Small Circle Dies and Lawn Fawn Large Circle Dies.  On the smaller circles stamp phrases from Art Impressions and 49th and Market using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Through the Christmas Window

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Create a card from Bazzill Serenity Cardstock using the Scor-Pal Scoring Tool to score the card in half.  Use a square die to die cut the center of the card.  Next, using the Art Impressions Window Deco stamp and die set, stamp the curtains and valance on Laserowe Love-Winter Song paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then die cut them.

Add the curtains to the die cut square.  Use Scrapbook Adhesives on the valance to pop it for dimension.

Stamp elements from the Lawn Fawn Ho Ho Holidays stamp set then die cut them with Lawn Fawn Ho Ho Holidays dies.  Color with Copic Markers.

Add a panel from the Winter Song collection inside the card.  Die cut a large circle using Lawn Fawn Circle Dies and Bazzill Gold Coins cardstock.  Place several of the Santa elements on the circle.

Be sure Santa pops through the window.

Stamp Merry Christmas from the Ho Ho Holidays stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a scrap of pattern paper and mat with a scrap of cardstock.  Add to the card using Scrapbook Adhesives for dimension.

Friendship Blooms

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

I began by cutting Strathmore Watercolor Tablet Paper into 4 panels.  Using a variety of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Spray Inks, I spritzed each panel.  I used Mermaid Lagoon, Pickled Raspberry, Faded Jeans and Wilted Violet.  I used a heat gun to set the ink between each layer.  As the ink dries, the panels flatten.

Using a Tutti Designs Die - Rose Frame Branch Die, I die cut Bazzill  Licorice Twist Cardstock.  The die cut resulted in 2 pieces.  Using a Nuvo Glue Pen, I placed the Rose Die atop one of the inked panels.  I added color to some of the roses with Nuvo Crystal Drops in Rhubarb Crumble.

I stamped a phrase from Art Impressions Watercolor Cling Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Lawn Fawn Clear Embossing Powder in the center.  For emphasis, I replaced the die cut center panel.

Cut Bazzill Candy Hearts Cardstock to card size.  Using Scor-Pal, score cardstock to create the card.  The panel was then adhered to the card.

You Brighten My Day

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

To create the background for this card, I used Rhubarb Crumble Nuvo Crystal Drops.  I must confess that my bottle exploded and I had a huge blob of Nuvo Drops on my craft table.  Rather than throw  it away, I picked up a paint brush, added a little water and used the Nuvo Drops like paint.

I found the blob went quite far, so I kept painting assorted scraps of paper until all the Nuvo Drops were used.  Now I have a nice collection of papers for upcoming projects.

Using the die cut oval panel, I placed it atop a panel of Bazzill Taffy cardstock.  I also added a scalloped border around the die cut center.  Selecting one of the rose stamps from Penny Black, I colored it with Copic Markers, then fussy cut it.  The rose was placed off center with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.

A sentiment from Art Impressions' Watercolor Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink then matted with a scrap of the painted cardstock and placed on the card with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.

Next time you find yourself with a crafting "issue", think of ways you can use it to your advantage!

Dear Friend Roses

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store.  Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

I used Lawn Fawn dies to create the background for my roses.  The panel was die cut with the Stitched Rectangle die, then the Quilted Background die created the background.

The card was assembled with layers of cardstock.  I love the layer peaking out from the Quilted Background.

Using one of the rose stamps from Penny Black, I colored it with Copic Markers, then fussy cut it.  The rose was placed atop a die cut oval with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.

Rhubarb Crumble Nuvo Crystal Drops were added to the roses.  A sentiment from Art Impressions' Watercolor Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink then placed on the card.
