Your life is a Canvas

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today working with an assortment of products from the store.  Have you explored the store lately to see all the new (and perhaps older) products you might have missed?

I love stencils and this stencil from The Crafter's Workshop called Life Remembered is amazing.  I used assorted inks Tim Holtz Distress Inks -  Tea Dye, Walnut Stain, Frayed Burlap.  Next, I matted the panel on brown cardstock.  The sentiment from Stamping Bella - Abigail the Artist - was stamped with Walnut Stain and matted with brown cardstock.

I wrapped the panel with May Arts ribbon, then stuck a stick pin from Petaloo into the knot.  Several leaves from Wild Orchard Crafts were tied around the knot.

I lightly inked around the card and placed the panel on top with foam adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives.

Creative Journal with Noe

 Hi everyone!!

Noe here, sorry I disappeared last week, but with babies at home and virus loose out there... sometimes day a day  from a mother is complicated ... From here I want to thank my teammates Pi and Anna for their help!

So after a exhausting days nothing better than a little Mixed Media to take off stress!!

Here is my first project for this week (yes, I´ll return again on Friday with a new creation), it´s one of the pages to my creative journal.

I love playing for hours with my paints, my stencils, my gelatos and my different texture paste !! It's really fun! I recommend it for those days when you're discouraged!

The Doll is drawn and painted on watercolor paper. I paint it with my Neocolors and then I added it on the background that I created previously...

Happy Summer Maja Designs

 Hi everyone!!

Noe here and I'm trying something out of my comfort zone...  A Vintage Card with pastel colors... if you read me weekly you know that I love bright colors and that my style is more clean and simple.

To try it, I chose "Summer Crush" colection from Maja Designs that I have been surprised by its high quality! This is the result:

How difficult it´s to adapt to an unfamiliar style, isn´t it? But I think I'm satisfied with the result!!

I have been creating my card in layers, tearing papers, using my distressing tool,  to give them a more antique touch...

Finally, some flowers and placed the sentiment in the center.

Products used in this card:
  1. Summer Crush Maja Design 6x6 Paper Stack
  2. Open Flower Prima Marketing Die
  3. White Lace Ivory Satin center.
  4. Lace 5/8 with pearl center.

Namaste

Hi everyone!

Pi here with another card and I hope you like it :)

I mixed a lot of products and brands for this one. How silly of my that's something to overcome - LOL!

I love the YOGA MAMAS stamp! I colored her with my copic markers. For here hair I used E51, E55, E57 and for her clothes I used BG45 & BG49 and I'm loving this combo. All the layers of paper are leftover scraps and they go so well together. The little birds are chipboard pieces from the same collection by G45 - don't you love it when someone else is doing all the hard work for you.

The sentiments of the card is made with 2 set of stamps. "Namaste" is made with Milo's ABC. A great stamp set and so easy to use. The rest of the sentiment is from the awesome Handlettered thanks stamp set from Wplus9 design studio. So loving the versatility of that one and the fact that they both are clear stamps really helps getting a perfect position.

The piece that I stamped the sentiment on had the word "baby" showing, so I covered it with a strip of washi tape. But it works...

Mother´s Day Card

Happy Friday!

Here Noe with a new project for The Rubby Buggy Blog.

First  Sunday in May is Mother's Day in Spain ... so here is the card that I made for that special day (dedicated to my mom :)

To make this card I used this Rubby Buggy godies:

I created my own background paper using distress inks and holographic embossing powder and the embossing resist technique.

Love Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers!!! They are very easy to use and are so pretty...

Finally, banner  is a Wplus9 stamp that I cut  and placed in the top corners of the card.

I hope you like my project and I hope it inspires you to play.

Happy Crafting!!
