Starting with Christmas Cards

Hi everyone!!

It´s Noe here, and yes, have you read good... I'm starting to make my Christmas cards... Is there something nicer to open a mailbox and find a Christmas card full of good wishes??

Well, this is my first Christmas Card for this year!

I made my background using "Bayou Flora" Prima Stamps with Gold and Cooper Metallics inks.

Then, I embossed in a vellum paper my sentiment and framed it with my Banner Die and finally, add some metallics sequins.

Thank You Tommy

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a Thank You card.

I love these elongated Mixed Media Stamps from Prima Marketing and today I'm using Tommy.  He was colored with Copic Markers and then fussy cut.   Since I wanted him to stand out, I matted him with Bazzill  Cardstock and again fussy cut him.

The card measures approximately 4" x 9" onto which I added Garden Fresh paper from the Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home Collection.  A strip of black card was added across the center and the fussy cut Tommy was added on top with Foam Adhesives for dimension.

One of the tags from the Home Sweet Home collection - My Sunshine - was added to the right of Tommy and a stamped Thank You from Wild Rose Studio's Circle Greetings was die cut and added on top.

Wouldn't this be a perfect card to give to the men in your lives?

Layared Flower Card

Hi everyone!!

It´s Noe here as every Friday with a new card to share with you! I had long wanted to make a card  with stamps in layers and these beautiful Prima Flower stamps have been the perfect excuse to do it!

Love this technique and the result... and it´s to easy!!  You only must stamp your favourite stamps and then, cut  cardstock stamped with stitched rectangles dies, in two diferents sizes... Placed below each piece of cardboard stamped a slightly larger piece in black color and paste on each other with foam double-sided tape.

I´ve made Confetti effect in this way:

Only lack a pretty bow die (placing a enamel dot in the center)  and stamp our feeling ... Card ready!

Beach Life Tag

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today.  We are in the middle of a heat wave in New York.  Temperatures are scheduled for near 100 the rest of the week, so I am definitely thinking of the beaches and trying to stay cool.

I've created a beach themed tag with an awesome Prima Mixed Media Stamp - Kate.

I have adored this stamp since she was released.  I colored her with Copic Markers, then fussy cut a dress for her.  Once dressed, Kate was fussy cut and added to a layer of paper from Prima Marketing's Dress Me Up paper pad - Blush.  Strips  were added to the tag for a little more interest.

The tag was created from Bazzill cardstock and a layer of Heartfelt Creations Celebrate the Journey collection  was added on top.  To finish, I tied May Arts ribbon to the tag.

Hope you are staying cool this summer.

Through the window

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here on this lovely Thursday.

I used an assortment of products to create this card.  The papers are from Maja Design, double sided and beautiful.

I used both sides of the papers, die cutting an oval in the top layer so the under layer showed through.

The stamped image is Keira from Prima Marketing.  She was colored with Copic Markers and then cut to fit within the window.

Flirty Girl

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here on this lovely Thursday.

Today I'm using my beloved Prima doll stamps.  I adore them and love creating legal sized cards for friends.  I've used Olive, a sassy gal with a flirty skirt and free flowing hair.

Using Bazzill cardstock, I created the card.  I cut the cardstock too narrow, so I rescored it and added a ribbon between the layers for a different effect.

Olive was colored with Copic Markers and then fussy cut.  She was added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.
