Let It Snow Snowflake Cards
5:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store. Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.
It may still be the middle of summer, but there is no better way to cool off than by creating winter themed cards.
It may still be the middle of summer, but there is no better way to cool off than by creating winter themed cards.
I used Maja Designs Vintage Summer Basics 1916 to create both cards, die cutting the papers with PoppyStamps Craft Die - Snowflake Lattice Frame. As this paper is double sided, I created two cards using both sides of the paper.
Use the Spellbinders Tool 'n One to remove the left over die cut pieces that remained in the die.
Mat the die cut panels with the same paper, then wrap each panel with May Arts Sheer Light Blue Stitched ribbon. This gives the cards a wintry feel.
The Maja paper gives each card a wintry feel.
Add the die cut panels to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cards created from Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock and Bazzill Icy Mint cardstock. Use Nuvo Crystal Drops to create pearls in each of the snowflakes. Allow to dry completely.
Die cut Tutti Designs Oval Dies from the same paper and place atop the cards with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam for dimension. Stamp and die cut the bench and lamp post using Lawn Fawn Winter in the Park stamps and dies and Lawn Fawn Soot Dye Ink. Place them atop the oval and add to the card with foam adhesives.
Die cut Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Let It Snow Line Border Die. As the die cut phrase is flexible, you can customize the die cut for your projects. I wanted to shape them in the form of an arch on my cards.
Finally add Yellow Ice Stickles to the lanterns.
Thank you for visiting.

Mixed Media Masculine Cards
7:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store. Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.
I chose an olive green cardstock for this card as it picked up the more muted colors in the background. I also used a stencil with molding paste to add some definition. A scrap of burlap added to the masculine feel.

I also used Tim Holtz Ideaology Mini Gears on both cards, adding a touch of color with Prima Marketing Art Alchemy Metallique Wax to add a bit of color.
I chose to add dark green cardstock to this card as it picked up on the green highlights in the paper. A larger panel of burlap helped set the masculine tone before adding the gears. I created a tag made from another sheet of gel press paper, matted it with cardstock and slipped it behind the burlap.
The phrases are from Poppystamps.

Masculine cards can at times be difficult to create, but with the right tools, you can create an assortment of masculine cards. For these cards, I started with the Gel Press to create assorted backgrounds.
And while you have the Gel Press out, make a bunch of papers that can be used for future projects. This saves a lot of time, plus it's so much fun to look at the papers you have already created and figure out how you want to work with them!
When creating masculine cards, use burlap (rather than ribbon), gears (rather than flowers) and more subtle/grungy colors like browns, blues, greens. While I have do yellow and red in my backgrounds, you can see with the additional embellishments that they are more masculine.
Cut the background papers to size and mat with cardstock that enhances the paper you created.

Butterfly Love
12:29 PM
Hi it's Jennifer here today with a card I have created for
and the theme being
so pop on over and add your entry. There are also
Rubber Buggy Dollars to be won.
So for this Card I have layered Mauve and aqua papers on a card
base then the next layer used white paper and smooshed Tim Holtz
I then used Memory Box Wrapped Scallop Rectangles. Using
the largest I then used Memory Box Distressed
Addington Collarge and cut out the lacey corner. I 3D'd
it on to the Inked layer. I then inked some spare paper using the
same colours and cut out Butterflies from
Poppy Crafts Stitched Trio. I layered them up poping a
pearl in the centres. I next used Lawn Fawn Scripty Love
and cut out one in Mauve and 3 in white. I layered 2 white 1 mauve
and 1 white off centre. I then sprinkled a few Sequins on the card and
glittered the Butterflies with Wink of Stella.
I hope you enjoyed this Card Design.
Hope you all have a Great Crafting Week.

2:43 PM
Hi everyone!!
It´s Noe here as every Friday with a new card to share with you! I had long wanted to make a card with stamps in layers and these beautiful Prima Flower stamps have been the perfect excuse to do it!
Love this technique and the result... and it´s to easy!! You only must stamp your favourite stamps and then, cut cardstock stamped with stitched rectangles dies, in two diferents sizes... Placed below each piece of cardboard stamped a slightly larger piece in black color and paste on each other with foam double-sided tape.
I´ve made Confetti effect in this way:
Only lack a pretty bow die (placing a enamel dot in the center) and stamp our feeling ... Card ready!

Country House Wishes
5:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today. Can you believe that Christmas isn't too far away now.
Have you gotten your Christmas cards created yet. If not, here's one that is versatile and can be used in any number of ways.
I've used the Poppy Stamps Country Houses and the coordinating Country Houses Roof and Backgrounds dies to create this card. Love how they work together seamlessly.
I used the yellow layers, cut from Spellbinders dies to simulate the light in the windows. But I could so see this set of houses with lots of different colors. A project for another day! The ink is Lawn Fawn's Doe Dye Ink.

Celebrate Card!!
5:00 AM
Hi everyone!!
Noe here in another sunny Friday to share a bit of inspiration!!
Today I show you a simple, easy and fast card ... To make it, just we need a few inks and one die !!
In another piece of cardstock blur the same inks again and cut the chosen word with a die. To give relief, cover it with clear embossing powder!
To draw circles on the bottom where we inked simply dipped the cotton swab in a little water and press it softly over the cardstock... Notice how the inks react !!
