A Laugh is a Smile that Burst using Blue Fern Studio Tranquility & More

HI... Bev here today at The Rubber Buggy. What a fun page with a photo of my youngest Grand Daughter. The colours, trims and accents were perfect with this too cute photo. I am using Blue Fern Studio Tranquility collection and some Creative Embellishments chipboards.

Supply List:
Rubber Buggy Products:
Creative Embellishments Products
Chipboards: A laugh is a smile that bursts, Berry Wreath circular frame, Lupine, Monarch Butter fly
Button: Fly Away Flair
Other: washi tape, black  pen,  Modeling Paste

To start the background I am using 2 pattern papers ripping one in half and glued them to gether.

Using a 2nd sheet of paper the same print I fussy cut the bird and cage, inked it and foam popped it up.

You can see that inking the edges give depth and dimension to the cage and bird. In the upper section I fussy cut some foliage from the 2nd print paper to add to the upper left corner above the bird.

Using some pieces from some floral chipboard I added it to the 2 sections on the page.

This title is so fitting for the photo of my youngest Grand Daughter. When she was happy she would smile and break into the most infection laugh for a small toddler. She would make us all smile with happiness when she did this. I inked this part of the title and when dry I added glossy accents for a shine.

In these 2 photo shots I am sharing where I used Modeling paste and stencil to add texture to the page.

The photo above shows placement of the proposed photo with chipboard frame and the title.

I cut the photo to fit the frame, clustered with flowers and leaves, added the inked and stickles butterfly and add the flair butterfly accent.

I added some Nuvo Glimmer paste to the chipboard.

Glossy accented title.

Flair button, cluster of flowers and on chipboards more Nuvo Glitter paste.

On this central section of the page showcasing my sweet Grand Daughter I put just a dab of blue ink and sparkled it up with more Nuvo Glitter paste... but not solid.. just spiratic placement. It's she just too cute.

Flowering Dogwood Happy Birthday Card

The Rubber Buggy on-line store carries all of these supplies to make this card.  They offer great customer service and fast delivery on all of your orders.

I made this card using the Heartfelt Creations paper, dies and stamps besides the NUVO Crystal Drops and NUVO Mousse that comes in so many colors.

Do you know that if you use a wonderful stamping tool like the MISTI that Rubber Buggy carries, you can do so many different techniques in stamping.
I couldn't live without this very VERY important stamp tool.  I was able to stamp these flowers twice with the Ranger pink ink and then stamp it again twice with Ranger clear embossing powder or any clear or clear glitter embossing powder that you have on hand.  If you don't have a lot of colors of embossing powders, this is one technique that you can use with any type of ink besides pigment ink but only with a stamping tool like the MISTI.

I just love the prills for the center of my flowers.  I took my fingers and dipped it in the NUVO Aqua Mist Mousse and applied it to the center of the flowers and glued mini prills in the center.  I added NUVO Apple Green Crystal Drops to the pattern flowers and the small die cut flowers.  I colored the small die cut dogwoods with colored pencils and Copic markers.

I just love the Heartfelt Creations Decorative Oval.  I added 5mm flatback pearls.

On Your Big Day......

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today working with a bunch of products from the Rubber Buggy Store.

Using a Gel Press, I placed dabs of Ranger Distress Paints in Rusty Hinge, Tea Dye and Frayed burlap on it.  Using a Ranger Inky Roller Brayer I blended the paint on the Gel Press.

I placed cardstock on top and pulled a print.  Since there was paint still on the plate, I pulled another print to be used for another project.  Next, I used one of the prints with a Crafter's Companion Embossing Folder - Antique Keys to create a background.  I lightly ink over the keys with Ranger Distress Ink in Mermaid Lagoon.

I matted the panel with cardstock which I also inked with Ranger Distress Ink in Mermaid Lagoon.  Then I wrapped the panel with May Arts Ribbon.

To create the card, I used Bazzill cardstock and scored to create a top folding card using Scor-Pal.  I placed the panel on top, then stamped my image and sentiment.

The image is from Stamping Bella and the sentiment is from Art Impressions.

Thank you for visiting.

Stamping Bella Style

Hi it's Jennifer here with my weekly post.
Today I decided to use  the Beautiful
I used a lot of Copics to colour her.
So I tried a few backgrounds with splashes of
Sequins to create a Shaker Card but they were
all way to busy and looked to messy so I took everything
away and went with a plain white background sprinkled
with a few clear sequins. You could use this background
with any Image it really highlights them as your focus is
drawn to the Image.

I have used plain white cardstock then die cut the largest
3D Foam Tape.  The next layer I diecut the second largest
Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Frame and kept the centre.
I  raised both those together with the 3D Foam Tape. I then
stamped the sentiment with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink
and  used the 3D Foam Squares cut in half and place
 Charolette on the Card.

All these products and more are avaliable at the
The Rubber Buggy Shop and don't forget to visit us on Facebook
look for the Videos down the side too, Instragram and the
Rubber Buggy Design Team Blog where there's a post nearly
everyday from one of the team.

Happy Crafting

Special Moments at The Rubber Buggy

HI.... Bev here today with a Special Moments project using papers from The Rubber BuggyPhotoPlay Bloom CollectionBlue Fern Soft Blossoms and some lace.
The background is done with a plastic bag over my hand dabbing different colours of paint.   I am using  Creative Embellishments colours from the challenge mood board (below) and lots of amazing chipboards. Added to that I am using one of my very own sketches being used from Creative Inspiration inspirational Monday Sketch challenge. (below)

I like to start with a rough layout plan... take a photo of it and then I can move things around to do more or less in the background. In this one I used paint and modeling paste stenciling along with some stamping too.

Working my way forwards adding some fabulous layers of paper and setting aside some fabulous Creative Embellishments chippies.

This photo shows the fun layers of print paper and the great background paint and stamping.

Stenciling some hearts is a perfect match to the papers and theme of this page with all the other amazing heart accents.

OMG look at all the heart accents... and love the added flowers and the cute flair butterfly button.

The next batch of photos give some close ups and views to showcase many other fabulous fun accents.

Be sure to visit the store where you can view these and so many other product to suit all your projects.

Thanks for stopping by..... be sure to come again when I have more to share with you.
