Hello Cards with Dress My Crafts
1:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a set of sweet cards.
It's been hard to get together with friends for such a long time, so occasionally I like to send a card letting them know I'm thinking about them.
These sweet cards were created with papers from Dress My Crafts Whispering Love collection. Since the papers are sturdy enough, I was able to create my 5 1/2" square card bases from the dotted paper.
Cutting the next layer to 6" x 6", I tore the papers then reassembled them with Bazzill Licorice Twist Cardstock between the layers. This really helps give the cards dimension without a lot of bulk. The torn panels were then cut to size, matted with black cardstock and added to the cards.
I've used the Memory Box Little Halo Hello die for the sentiment. The largest of the 2 dies measures approximately 2.7" x 1.4" and is the perfect size for cardmaking. One layer was cut from black cardstock and the other from Bazzill Marshmallow Cardstock. Once adhered together they were added to the cards and the cards were ready to send.

Lawn Fawn Birdhouse Card
1:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a sweet birdhouse card today.
Lawn Fawn's Magic Iris Birdhouse add on is part of their Iris series but it can be used alone, which is the beauty of the Lawn Fawn dies. You aren't forced to purchase something you might not want to use.
Since many of the dies are small, I tend to keep them linked together so I don't lose them. I die cut all the pieces from a variety of colors so I would be ready to assemble the card. I wanted a wood grain effect to the birdhouse so I used Lawn Fawn's Dark Brown Woodgrain Cardstock.
Once I had all the pieces die cut, I created the card from brown cardstock and Authentique's Romance pattern paper. I created a stake for the birdhouse, placed it on the card, then placed the birdhouse on top. The phrase was stamped with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink on the left over circle which was die cut from the center of another birdhouse.
Leaves and flowers were added to the flower box along with the blue bird. Then I added several small pearls for dimension.
To finish I added two leafy vines below the birdhouse as well as 2 more leafy vines and a small pink heart to the top of the birdhouse.

How to use Slimline Dies
1:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store. Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.
Thank you for visiting
I've created 2 cards today using Tutti Designs Slimline dies - Stitched Scalloped Rectangle and Stitched Rectangle in 2 different ways.
My first card was created from Bazzill Lollipop cardstock. Using papers from the Graphic 45 Joy to the World collection, along with Lollipop and green cardstock, I die cut the layers to create a true slimline card.
Prima poinsettias were added to to the layers with brads, along with a metal phrase from Tim Holtz Christmas Words collection. Glue Dots were used to provide dimension.
My next card is an A2 sized card and I used the same Tutti Designs Slimline dies to die cut the elements from Bazzill Lollipop cardstock and Graphic 45's Joy to the World papers.
I placed the scalloped layer on the card, cutting off the sections I did not need. Then I die cut the angel layer and cut off the sections I did not need. A poinsettia was added to the upper corner and a Tim Holtz Christmas Word was added along the edge. This is a great way to use slimline dies in another way with left over papers.

Rose Birthday Card
6:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store. Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.

Using Prima Watercolor Paper, spritz it with water and sprinkle Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals in Urban Amethyst on the paper. Add more water as necessary until the paper is covered.
Once dry, die cut to fit a card created from Pion Design - Purple V. Next, use Bazzill Licorice Twist cardstock with Tutti Designs Background die.
Nuvo Crystal Drops in Sweet Lilac was used to add additional color to the roses. Using a Tutti Designs Stitched Oval die, I die cut Bazzill Marshmallow cardstock. A birthday stamp from Penny Black Transparent stamp set, was stamped on the oval using Lawn Fawn Soot ink. Inking the edges with Lawn Fawn Fresh Lavender ink, I then placed it in the center of the card using Glue Dots Mini Dots for a little dimension.
What do you think?

Framed Dimensional Cards
5:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store. Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.
Thank you for visiting
I used some fun 7Gypsies Adhesive Embellishments. I die cut a frame using Bazzill Marshmallow Cardstock with Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle dies. The edges were inked with Ranger Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, and placed atop a scrap of pattern paper. Several stamps from Tim Holtz Tiny Text cling stamps were inked with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamp around the panel. Add the panel to a Lawn Fawn Kraft card.
I used the Old Paint Brush for my first card, adding it to the card on an angle. Using Tutti Designs Nesting Ovals, I die cut white and kraft cardstock. Another phrase was stamped on the white layer and the ovals were then added to the card with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D foam squares for dimension, overlapping the paint brush.
For my second card, I used the 3 Wicker Woven Trunks. I really liked the packaging so I used it for the background, and placed another die cut panel on top.
Again, I stamped several stamps from Tim Holtz Tiny Text cling stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink around the die cut panel. A third stamp was stamped on a strip of white cardstock, matted with kraft cardstock and added to the card with foam adhesives. The panel was then added to a Lawn Fawn Kraft card. Makes me want to pack my trunks and do some traveling.

For the larger card, a paper layer was fussy cut and matted with Bazzill Wax Lips Cardstock. Additional elements were almost matted with the same cardstock and added to the card. The stamped and colored panel was die cut with Lawn Fawn's Stitched Rectangle Dies, then matted with brown cardstock and added to the card on a slight angle with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Adhesives.
To finish I used the Lawn Fawn Happy Fall Line Border Die cut, die cutting it from brown cardstock and placing it across the bottom of the card.

This sweet Penny Black stamp - Gathering - just screams fall don't you think? It's the perfect image for coloring with Copic Markers.

The card was created from Bazzill Candy Bar cardstock, cut to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" and scored with Scor-Pal Scoring Tool. The Maja Design paper was added to the card and a strip of burlap was then adhered.

Thanks You Card with Gabi's Hibiscus
6:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store. Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.
Thank you for visiting
I came across a piece of Bazzil cardstock in Gumball which I had previously die cut. Since it was the approximate size of a card, I decided to work with it.
Cutting Lawn Fawn White cardstock the same size, I stamped 2 flowers and the sentiment using the 49 and Market stamp set - Gabi's Hibiscus behind the opening using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. This stamp set includes 5 floral stamps and 3 sentiments that can be mixed and matched for a variety of projects. The panel was then matted with Bazzill Candy Bar cardstock before being added to the card.
I stamped and fussy cut the largest image, placing it slightly off center on the card. The script phrase was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on white cardstock and matted with Bazzill Candy Bar cardstock before being added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.
To finish I painted Liquid Pearls Blush randomly about the flowers then added dots of Liquid Pears Platinum for the flower center.

I loved the designs of the 49&Market Cottage Life Collection.
The Carabelle Studio butterfly panel was stamped on Lawn Fawn White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and edged with Lawn Fawn Doe Ink, matted with cardstock and added to each tag with Scrapbook Adhesives 3d Foam Aquares.
The tags were assembled and sheer white ribbon added to complete them.

I loved the designs of the 49&Market Cottage Life Collection.
The papers are 8" x 8" so I cut the papers into 3" x 8" strips to create my tags. Each was then matted with Bazzill Taffy Cardstock. Two tags were then added to Bazzill Jelly Bean Cardstock and one to Bazzill Icy Mint Cardstock.
Next, I die cut the Tutti Designs Butterfly Dance die from Lawn Fawn White cardstock and again from Lawn Fawn Sunflower cardstock. The yellow butterflies were fussy cut. The white panels and each butterfly was inked with Lawn Fawn Doe Ink and adhered to each tag.

The Stamperia Roses & Paper & Lace pattern paper pack is a great collection. Not only are the color soft and subtle, tags and phrases are included.
To coordinate with the pattern paper, I chose to use Bazzill cardstock in Pinecone and Candy Hearts.

To coordinate with the pattern paper, I chose to use Bazzill cardstock in Pinecone and Candy Hearts.
The cards are 5 1/2" square and I've added layers of pattern paper and cardstock to showcase the beautiful papers. I wrapped May Arts sheer ribbon around the top panels then added one of the tags on top with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares.
I created the next card similar to the first, but added die cut circles to the left side. Cutting off the left sides, I added them atop the ribbon with Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares. A small tag from this collection was added as the focal point.

Heartfelt Gratitude Cards
8:00 AM
Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with lots of fun products from the store. Please visit the store for all the fun products I've used today.
Who doesn't need to send a sweet card this time of year thanking all our family and friends for their gifts and hospitality.
Use the Scor-Buddy to create a top folding card from Bazzill Jelly Bean Cardstock.
Using the Branching Out page from the 49 and Market Cottage Life collection, cut to fit the front of the card. Using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Rectangle Stackable dies, cut out the center of the panel.
Mat the die cut panel with Bazzill Jelly Bean Cardstock, then realign the panel back to the main panel. This provides a nice 3d effect without a lot of bulk.
Select a stamp from the Art Impressions Watercolor Sentiment Stamp set. Stamp it with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink, mat with cardstock and add to the card with foam adhesives.
My second card uses pink cardstock and the Scor-Buddy. to create another top folding card.
Using the remaining pattern paper, I cut it to fit my card and matted it with the left over Bazzill Jelly Bean Cardstock. After wrapping the panel with twine, I added the panel to the pink card. The phrase is from the same Art Impressions Watercolor Sentiment Stamp set. I stamped it with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink on white cardstock then added it to a scalloped die cut. Dear Friend from the same stamp set was stamped directly on the card with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink.
